Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the #travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to go travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this #travelvlog to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling, and we didn’t want to stop after just one year! After achieving our new goal of 100 countries and then all 7 continents (check out our documentary here: • 100th COUNTRY DOCUMENTARY , we had no plans to slow down, until 2020 decided to force us to ;) which is when we bought a converted Sprinter van to start exploring our own country for the first time. #Vanlife was a major adjustment and so different than flying every week like we were used to, but we are incredibly thankful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. 😊🎥🌎

I would just like to say, for the longest time I was thinking how perfectly put together I thought your daily lives where. This video has made you both SO MUCH more relatable especially as a couple. Tv stand, night stand, computer stand, bathroom, purse and briefcase so he never thinks he has stolen mine.

I love this video. Seriously, I know Nate is embarrassed, but this is the kind of video that makes van life so much more than picturesque views and amazing adventures, now it’s all that and two real, relatable people. Everyone has their habits and their messes, it’s good to be reminded of that every once in a while.

LMAO I love this video and it's honesty soooo much! You two are so much fun to watch! Love your channel! A few suggestions: 1.) For the Cabinets and Drawers: A,) Try Marine Latches for the Cabinets and Drawers - it will keep them from flying open! B.) And add an interior drawer WithIN the drawer for added storage of little stuff. (Take a look at Ikea Kitchens to get an idea of what I am talking about.) 2.) Try re-painting the white cabinets and walls with white gloss, semi-gloss, or satin finish paint. The glossier the finish, the easier it cleans, and more importantly the cleaner it stays! (Also the more light it refracts so it makes a space look brighter.). IDK what the fascination with flat paint is, it gets dirty and stains SO easily! 3.) Try putting a cargo net in front of the items within the upper cabinets to keep the stuff from falling out when you open the cabinet. 4.) Add a small shelf to the inside of the upper cabinets to utilize more of the vertical space. 5.) Go to the Dollar Tree and buy a ton of elastic hair ties. Roll your cloths and put a hire tire around each piece. This way when you dig through your cloths cabinet, the cloths stayed rolled up. This also works brilliantly for suitcases! 6.) Look into 2 piece cab window shades, they fold up much easier and as a result are soooo much easier to store! For the side cab windows look into side pull down shades, great for driving down the road and for parking. OR You can get a day/night Slow Roller Shades by Irvine Shade & Door for the front window (or all of the windows for that matter). We just upgraded our travel trailer with these and we LOVE them! 7.) Why not put a pop up/removable/rv/marine table between the 2 cab seats for eating and put the drivers seat on a semi-swivel? I love all the honesty and realness! So much fun to watch! Thanks!

I love that you do not pretend that you are awesome at everything you try for the first or even the tenth time, I love it when you guys do not cut out your inexperience with the outdoors life, electrical failures, looms shouting not being wolves, being afraid of mountain lions or bears , when your back is hurting like hell after hours of biking and all those crazy and amazing things you are going trough. Love the raw and the real. Just shows you are human, like the rest of us. You just get to have way more fun, more often than the rest of us. Love all the giggles and the "nopes" from Nate.

YESS!!! Finally someone else who reuses paper towels and saves napkins and condiments 🙌🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 our society is needlessly wasteful it’s really nice to see Kara being mindful of the environment. Imagine if everyone was a bit more mindful of the things they throw away. It would make a tremendous impact to our environment.

Well considering she has one million napkins, that is already produced, in her drawer... it seems like an odd behavior ^)^

might be better for the envirement.. but I read microbiology in school and made bacteria growth.... that napkin has about a zillion of bacterias thats just growing by the hour, trust me... it would be better if she would have a small towel which she clean between the drying or if she just "hit" the brush in the air (over the sink) until it is almost dry and have a small glass by the window where the sun is shining and let the rest dry. I had a friend who held their toothbrusch under water and then "sucked" in all the water in her mouth to make it dry, not sure how hygienic that is, but its bettern than that napkin :) not being a hater, just thinking more about the hygien.

I saw your first van tour and LOL for real. I’ve lived in an RV about that size and I knew better. It’s nice to see your honest assessment of van life. Thx. That’s what keeps me coming back to watch y’all. The bed/dining table/office really had me laughing but you’re normal, most van people leave it as a bed. That’s the honesty I appreciate. 😎

Thanks for keeping it real! Drying your toothbrush is not weird, using a recycled paper towel could get gross after a while, but if the toothbrush is clean, what's the big deal? Washing your coffee pot with soap is not necessarily a good thing (if you use pure essential oils - the ingestible ones - put a little lemon oil with hot water once in a while and swish it around then rinse). In life, I've learned that more people are messy than neat, if you can live with it and it works for you - who cares what everyone else thinks? Your space is not so messy, and dirt is part of life. I appreciate and more realistic view of van life, and according to the comments below - so do most people. Stay healthy, stay safe, have fun!!

I really enjoyed this. Yes, we like to see the real stuff. My husband and I did van life a few years back with a 90's Ford Econoline. This is very relatable. We are planning to get a Revel 4X4 but throw our almost 3-year toddler in the mix! It is going to be "real" fun... Thanks again, I have been loving your content. You two are also a cute couple.
