Everyone saying the couple's "chemistry is off" or "if you love someone, you can't get enough of them" need to grow up. This couple clearly love each other, and the fact that they are willing to communicate and hear each other out is a testament of their willingness to work things out and get back on track. Relationships/marriages change over time and it's about keeping channels of communication open and meeting the other person where they're at through compromise. The husband acknowledged that his expectations for intimacy every day was unrealistic and the wife acknowledged that punishing him for 2+ years was not right either. No one is perfect but it's all about learning and doing better.
