I'm a beginner and I'm fat. I find bending and stretching extremely painful and hard. But have been trying these exercises for the past 4 days. Been doing half or less of some of those exercise sets. My body is still trying to breathe through. Hoping in a month of training, I'd lose my weight considerably to begin some advanced steps. Thanks dude!

Thank you for this, we are using the time to repair Dojo floor and do other work when other students cant train, i am loving everything i am seeing and some we now do in our Dojo. Look forward to putting the kids through all this when classes return :) As for myself, being disabled, this is highly challenging for sure. My battle is internal over physical even with that is ruins, so i enjoy all of this to teach complete body, mind soul. My Sensei loves i find things and bring them to our students.

I did kyokushin style karate using resistance bands and just a body-weight. For resistance bands I use bike tubing. The exercise and training consisting of... (5×20-50 reps) Fist Push-ups (4x2 mins) Shadow boxing kickboxing style (5x15-30reps) Bent over rows/pull ups- improving my hikite (5x15-30 reps) finger push ups (5x100 reps) round house kick, front kick, side kick, and back kick (5x100 reps) jab and other punch combos (5x4 revolution) Sprint work or Bear Crawl (on stairs, hills, and/or track) (5 mins) of shiko dachi -sumo squat- hold (5x50 reps) glute thrusts/deadlift for kicks Again these training does supplement me from this video. I hope this helps. Also its good to look up resistance bands exercises. Good for an otg (on the go) karate workout.

@@EneSacarification I am not an expert in martial arts and I am still learning. I will try to help you with your questions. A) Yes, I do karate and our teacher has told us to take everything slowly and then start to do everything faster once we get the hang of it. B) Practise the moves in a standard way and after a while, try blocking your imaginary rival's attacks. It is up to you if you want to do it or not. Once again, I am not an expert in martial arts but I thought I would lend a helping hand. Hope this helped in any kind of way. 👍 Keep on practising and you'll fulfill your dreams.

Jesse Sensi , don't show this video to your mom. She might tell you to " Get off the bed before you fall and hurt yourself! " 😀 Since people are at home, they could try what I came up with back in the 1980's so I could make it through my Kung Fu classes. I called it "commercial exercise", I would watch tv and then on commercials you exercise. You do what ever you want because the commercials will end and you get to rest. I amazed my beginner students, We had beginner classes about 1-2 hours long. And we would every so often do 10 horse stance knee bends. They were shocked when I told them that they did 100 knee bends and didn't know it. This is good for diabetics and people slowly recovering for you don't over do it and hurt yourself.
