Yes, she 100% should show Mork some pop stuff! That could be really fun! Would also love to see some Kamelot for a video, there's stuff for Mark too! Tommy Karevik's vocals are inspired by Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston, and plenty of females making gurly noises in the Karevik era, so it's definitely worth checking out! Check out the Kamelot - Phantom Divine Feat. Lauren Hart or Kamelot - New Babylon Feat. Melissa Bonny videos from Napalm Records, they're both great :)

You're right pop and metal are starting to blend really well and the perfect exemple is Amaranthe with songs like Inferno that has a chorus similar to Shape of You (Ed Sheeran), like with a very poppy structure and I believe DragonForce are also really poppy in their songs structure. There's many other exemples like Electric Callboy and that's not that new because Linkin Park already started their pop transition at the 3rd album (check Shadow of the Day).

He's pretty minimal with percussive elements so you can really dig in and analyze his mouth/throat techniques. His transitions are exceptionally clean, light and exposed in the mix, from falsetto to throat-singing. Songs to check out would be Creepin (Weeknd cover) or Faded (duet)(Zhu cover) Taras will be tag-teaming with Improver (current Russian beatbox champion, ranked 7th worldwide) in Grand Beatbox Battle 2024 in Tokyo come November

Courtney's mouth shape... Perhaps have her look at Devin Townsend's mouth shape. They guy is incredibly vertical. I also notice the 'drop' of the upper lip during Courtney's screams. Like she's starting to round her upper lip around-and-over-the-edge of her upper front teeth. . "Not feeling a thing" when you sing. Oh, yesyesyes. Sometimes, when walking back from the barn, I'll start singing... and every third or fourth day I will start doing a 'call' for my dogs (RIP , Belle and Farfel). But I will sing-the call. And it comed out so LOUD, clear, painless. Vibrato? No problem, it's there. Reach the upper reaches of my 'normal range'? Sure. It's Right There. And again, no pain. So, I reach the house, go in.. and in the confines of four walls I cannot get the same projection (I assume it's a belt... it is loud and cutting and clear). It just isn't there... I start 'aiming' voices rather than just letting it go unhindered. Weird observation from a decidedly off-track guy. (former engineer, now dentist, part time circuit designer still. understands the vocal apparatus fairly well from an anatomy/physiology standpoint.) ... but I just can't open it up inside four walls. (has Veronna heard Jayant from Bloodywood, yet? I might pay to hear her reaction to the chorus in 'Aaj'.) Back to the song: RE the discussion of low screams arounf @45:30 On the attack on those low screams, I can see Courtney bring the head of the mandibular condyle down and forward under the base of the skull almost to the point where I fear for an anterior dislocation... now, she obviously stops before you see any lateral 'pop ' of the condyle, and apparently has great, flexible ligaments ... the lateral pterygoids are working crisp to bring it forward smoothly and under control. For me, the root of the tongue would be getting in the way (I think). But Courtney just uses the lateral lingual constriction like the pro she is. (? Maybe she's arcing the sound up and over the tongue to form a longer, more resonant low-frequency pathway... I dunno. Great listening to the discussion.. I made it to 52 minutes before I had to move along, in case you are wondering about 'audience endurance'.
