I'm glad you got around to this one! Dan's voice has gotten so much better than it was when he recorded the PLOP for IA. I used to think he was a tier lower than Alex/Ben/Dickie but he's really become a fantastic vocalist on the same level.
@KardavoxAcademy3 жыл бұрын
I really dug his PLOP work but I agree, his voice has grown tremendously.
@Duskwalker683 жыл бұрын
@@KardavoxAcademy yeah I like his work on the PLOP too, he's always been solid! Ever since Luciferous he's been especially dope though, his highs are awesome and his lows are super unique.
@skater4682 жыл бұрын
i truly believe dan has worked his voice into one of the best in the game. He has developed an entire vocal style in itself, one that people practice to and try to sound like. Alex/ben/dickie are cool but hype bands and ‘sending them to the slaughter house’ got a little old in 2017. Vocalists like Phil, Dan, Tyler, and Mike & Casey, the ones who are branching out and creating their own niche are the ones who are setting the standard these days. There are vocalists out here who have been putting in straight work to define genres while others cling to hype and one-line breakdowns followed by a pig squeal. Alex/ben/dickie may have shown what can be done, but i really do not see anything more that they have contributed to the music as a whole.

@@WindyCityNick No, they obviously sound big in the mix. The people who critique his volume are going off of videos he’s uploading in the past that he recorded himself.
