We have an open lot in my neighborhood and every week we have to call the police to remove homeless people who are setting up tents in it. It's not abandoned, it's owned by the two homeowners on both sides of it. They let kids in the area use it to play sports and people have cookouts there. We have to stay on top of it every day and call the police. Thankfully our local police are able to remove them before other homeless people start showing up. When you see a homeless person camped on the sidewalk in front of your home cal the police right away .really open lots aren't abandoned they are owned by someone so it's trespassing.

FEMA run homeless encampments share shower, laundry, toilet, cooking-facilities, stores, and restaurants; just like a large campground. No trash or crime problems for the cities and the working poor have a dry place to sleep and store their stuff. 24/7 every 20 minutes bus service connects the homeless encampment to the city. Where *subsidized for the homeless,* electric-cargo-bikes are provided by companies such as: _Wheels, Lime, Link, and Veo._

It's tough for an area when you have groups of homeless hunting and foraging in the neighborhood!.....Not compatible with society!

If these people decided to get help, all they do is relocate them into the suburbs, such as Brooklyn Park, Brooklyn center, New hope, Crystal, look how great those places are. 👎

The homeless reality in this country is a disgrace and is not a priority for government and taxpayers. No legislators that I know of soends effort to address this crisis
@mplslawnguy33892 жыл бұрын
They won't address anything but their own pockets. We are where we are today because of them and those who voted them in. The three biggest issues that are destroying our cities is crime, homelessness, and mental health, yet none are addressed in any meaningful way. BTW, being soft on crime is clearly not a solution. Just take a look at the crime rate.

Everyone has a heart till that camp moves into your neighborhood. Let me know how you feel when you can’t let your kids go outside and play cause of needles and human waste all over the place.

The problem is people enable these people to encamp in their neighborhood.. they give em food and water and so they stay. The neighbors need to band together and rum em out of the neighborhood

'im agree with the blaze, if there are empty houses that can be utilized, that just sit and rot. Don't take that as enabling dereliction. The safety of those less fortunate is paramount. The good done in that arena will ripple throughout communities. Trickle down theory.

I still don’t understand how there is a recurring homeless population in Minneapolis, how could they possibly stay here during the winter when it’s nearly always at least -20°F.
@heathernicole30122 жыл бұрын
Some of them die during the winter. I live up here . We have a lot of drug problems in Minnesota. The gangs make sure to traffic them in .

Hand warmers,going in and out of public buildings,firewood you can burn at park BBQ stands. Get some SNAP and EBT and you can live off of it. It obviously is no way to live though, it's brutal and tiring. And you have to be nocturnal.

Fentanyl 💊, popular blues, destroy humans beyond the point of repair. They are fentanyl addicts, and not capable of doing anything no matter how simple it is. They destroy any housing by puling wall wires out just to sell for fentanyl 💊. Or, they just set fires and watch it burning.

There are lots of them in Denver as well , I dob't worry about them freezing to death so much as I wonder how they don't die from diseases they catch by wiping with whatever they find , including their hands . I am glad I don't know the half of how they "live" ,all I can tell you if I was in their place I would sleep outside a restaurant , and beg for a job . The nice thing is , no one needs to beg , jobs are there for the taking . All you need is clean up , look presentable and WORK !!

It's heartbreaking to see so many homeless people, but at the same time some of them choose this life. There are resources in MN to help anyone in need. You just have to be serious about getting help, not just talk about it.

so they moved the people out and destroyed what belongings they had, that sounds unconstitutional, As bad as the homeless situation is they are still Americans with inalienable rights. All Im saying is give them time to pack up but thats not the way ANY city handles these situations
