This might just be the craziest Karen freakout I have ever seen. Today, we're gonna be looking at a video from the KZbin channel "Cart Narcs". A channel that, uh, harasses people who don't put up their shopping carts. Yeah, it is just as pathetic as it sounds.

As the person with the job of collecting carts from around the parking lot, i also have many other duties on top of it. I have to clean bathrooms, stock shelves, clean the stores, but items back that people don’t want, helping people find things and not to mention bag peoples groceries and helping them to their cars if they want it. So its kind of nice someone is willing to stand up for us but like this? Thats not how you do it. You do it by helping us collect them and putting them in the cart returns not confronting people.

I didn't even know this problem still exists in the world. We haven't had this shopping cart problem for decades. You have to insert a dollar to release the trolley at the station and to get this dollar back you have to bring the cart back to the station. I actually feel sorry for the lady and I can literally feel her frustration and anger. Exactly what I was thinking myself because I travel to several grocery stores a day for my work and I do sometimes see a stray shopping cart that has rolled into the side of a vehicle at times. Cart Narcs actually hit up my store last year, but they were nowhere near as aggressive - Just kinda gave shit to one or two customers, talked with one of my co-workers for a moment, and then moved on. She politely tried to get in her car to just leave the confrontation, then the man runs up to her car to place a bumper sticker on her vehicle. Understandably she decided to get out of her car and give the man a verbal and firm warning to stop escalating, he then replies with, "Can't we just have a civil conversation?" He said this after having started a confrontation, followed the woman after she tries to leave, and placed a sticker on her car. I'm not defending how she handled this, but in comparison to the man in the video she barely did anything really.

I'm definitely on her side. I would've been frustrated with that too. I feel like she did overreact a bit, but she seemed on-edge before. I hate people who harass random strangers. There are employees who are payed for moving the carts. Of course it's a good thing to move your cart and spare the employee a lot of work, but it takes so much time to go out to the car, unload the groceries, and go all the way back to the store, especially when you have to go somewhere. Idk, I feel like this guy should spend his time doing more productive things. Edit: ok guys I'm sorry I didn't word that right. I don't think that anyone should make an employees job harder, and I don't condone being a slob or being lazy. Please forgive me, that's not exactly what I meant. I do think that it's acceptable to leave a cart in certain context, if there's an emergency, something that is extremely important. But again, I apologize for the misunderstanding and my terrible skills at wording my thoughts. I will try to improve. I dont usually get many replies with any comments so idk how to handle it.

One of my first job was receiving carts and honestly as long as it's not deathly hot out getting the carts that are super far away wasn't that bad. There's usually so many other cart retrievers that the jobs not that hard, of course there were poop days but I don't think we ever got worked up over people that do that.

Where I work there are three lobbies each with their own set of carts, there’s usually only two(sometimes three) of us to work all three of them. On an average day it’s so busy we have little to no time before the lobbies are entirely empty, + where I live it’s raining almost every day so I end up spending hours in the rain, it’s not a big deal for the customer but for us it’s an extra jog and swim we could go without.
