Story 1: A Corporate password should not be that simple and last that long. Typically passwords expired and need to be changed every few months. to prevent these kind of attacks.

goodBEan that's not how passwords work though passwords cannot expired even after years if through a Gmail nor any other site I don't know what you're talking about how they usually need to be changed or longer that's not how companies work ( PASSWORDS CAN'T EXPIRE )

@@itsOctobre I work in the IT field and I Should of been more clear. Corporate passwords should be more complex and change often to defend against attacks a dictionary. and people with a good memory. Also there is no reason why OP should know that password. its sloppy and dangerous to have a password policy that allows that.

Story 3: the original poster really should stand her ground and if the parents try to say "if your step sister isn't invited then we're not coming!" Then OP needs to just say "ok" and leave it at that. Story 4: the fact that these so-called friends are getting this worked up over not being able to have a drink really speaks volumes about their dependency upon alcohol.

Story 3 kayla made the ops life a nightmare. It sounds like the ops dad and stepmom didn't do anything to punish Kayla when she Bulied the op. If i was the OP i would have done the same thing. So no the OP isn't the jerk. Story 4: Not the jerk . Its the OPs house, she can make up whatever house rules she wants. If they dont want to listen to the OPs house rules then they could leave. The friends are definitly the jerks in this scenario.

story 2: OP is much nicer than I am: if it were me the moment you hurt my pets you get out of my house willingly or by force. Story 1: Petty revenge or not, it was still pretty funny and well-deserved for that dumb Karen manager. Cant blame everyone else for things you dont do or dont want to learn. Hopefully the OP is doing better now and that Karen enjoys being unemployed. Story 2: Okay, i think it safe to say that Kendall was by no means a good friend to the OP here. Kendall is beyond and entitled brat here and she took advantage of the OPs kindness. Going through her personal items and things like bank statements were bad enough, but the OP shouldve thrown her out on the spot the second she assaulted her dog. That is so far out of line and she deserved zero sympathy from anyone after doing that. I would've exposed her to all those people who were on her side too. Screw her. Story 3: No way is the OP a jerk here. I would disown the dad if he is demanding Kayla be present at the wedding. There is no way he doesnt know about all the horrible things she did to the OP... so why on earth would the OP want to even acknowledge her existance, much less invite her to a wedding. Last story - Then they can simplify the whole thing by cutting you from the rotation entirely. They're just not going to have any events at your house. Problem solved. If you don't want to drink, you're choosing not to, that's great for you. If you're doing good keep it up. But you don't have a say over anybody else doing it. If you can't be around it that is a you problem not a them problem.
