Testimony continues in the Karen Read murder trial. Read is accused of hitting and killing her Boston police officer boyfriend, John O'Keefe, with her SUV in 2022.

If I was a defense attorney I would move for a directed verdict of not guilty simply based upon what the defense does not have. Forensic analysis of the room and house, where's the dog? Is there dog DNA on his arm? I want the missing two minute of the canton library security tape. etc, etc, etc.

The state police detective investigating it is old friends with everybody in the house. He was already proven to be a perjuror giving testimony at the federal grand jury. Where he acknowledged he had lied in the state grand jury. Another Prosecutor witness also did that, but I forget who it was. I can't wait for the f.B.I forensic person to justify. And I wanna hear expert witness on dog scratches and bites. How much do you want to bet that the state forensic people and the corner never took any DNA swabs of the scratches or bite marks on his forearm. To indicate it was dog DNA. The prosecutor already lost this case long ago based on what these so called professional investigators did not do, the procedures they did not follow.

Some things she can remember specifically who was there on what date, other questions its "i dont recall," "I need to see it in front of me," "if you say so..." i would call that selective memory, rehearsed testimony

Now I just read a couple of different things. One said that on O'Keefe's death cert it lists the cause of death as "undetermined". Then I read something else that said the coroner determined the cause of death as blunt force trauma to the head and hypothermia. Now I had heard a report that he had a bump on the back of his head. But he also had two black eyes, swelling, bruising, bloody nose, bloody lip, and the scratches or dog bites on his arm. He showed no such injuries in any of the videotapes from any of the bars they were at that night. I was just watching a video showing the house and the crime scene. It said his body was found on the ground on the house's property by the sidewalk. This is all grass now. But near a flagpole and a little distance from a fire hydrant. So he was not found on the sidewalk street, or driveway (i.e. a hard surface). Granted it was winter. But they said his body was covered with snow but no one said if there was snow on the ground under his body. Then they said that the prosecution alleges that she backed up her SUV from 62 feet away, down the road, and hit him at 24 MPH. I have no idea where that came from. Yet there was no blunt force trauma to his body? Then it was said that around 6:30 AM when his body was found that no broken tail ight glass or plastic was found anywhere around on the ground or his body. Nor all morning or all day long. But then suddenly at 6 PM in the dark, there was taillight glass found at the site. So how would he have gotten blunt force trauma to the back of his head if hit by her SUV backing in to him? Unless he had his back turned with the SUV coming at him and he was kneeling down or sitting down on the ground. CUZ If you're standing there you're gonna get hit in the knees, the thighs, the hip, the gut, the body not in the back of the head. ...... Perhaps after one or more people beat the c*** out of him inside the house and he was unconscious for few hours for the black eye and bruising to appear, that he walked out of the house on his own and out to the sidewalk, and passed out on the ground.
