The question is whether Bev would have allowed it into evidence. These Illustrations are amazing and provide a quick rendering of what may have happened based on testimony.
@PhoebeMc
@PhoebeMc 5 ай бұрын
Why not? She allowed in all the CWs evidence with no chain of custody. That's NEVER allowed!! Ajax contested that, but Bev wouldn't back down. They could've appealed for a different judge, but that would've put off the car at least another yr & Karen didn't want that. She's probably second guessing that decision now. Auntie Bev refused, no matter how many things she did that were unscrupulous & disgusting, too recuse herself from this case. As we watch & all say, "Jeez she's SO biased!" We all know she is! She's deliberately skewed this case to help the prosecution. Whether or not Karen tries to go after her when all is done, of course depending on the finding of the jury, is justified & significant. So, "Something funny, Ms. Read?" "Yes ma'am, you. " I doubt it's comical as much as exasperating!! Most people I know couldn't withstand the horrors she's still living thru.

That is exactly it! I never could wrap my mind around the whole 24mph 62ft in 5 seconds thing... Being from an area with snow, we know when you're trying to get through snow, your tires spin... there was clearly a foot of snow minumum in this video.. so the vehicle is registering the tires spinning! This literally proves it.. and the visuals help so much! And i also notice in the tow truck video it shows the left and right steering wheel movement too..wow

not sure exactly how the data recorder logs things, but the way they had to floor the SUV in reverse to get it through the snow and onto the tow truck sure looks like the triggering event Trooper Paul used to create his whole theory

I thought that too and then checked the time…sped up 🙂
@MeganSpruce90
@MeganSpruce90 5 ай бұрын
If the video is sped up, regardless, that seems like the triggering event that Paul based all of this off. 24mph, 62ft.. likely the tires spinning to gain traction.

Trooper Paul didn’t create any theory. He is an imbecile. TP was told what to write down by the people who planted the evidence in the same way you get a toddler to do what you want by "suggesting" a course of action when they haven’t a clue.

Thank you It was fairly obvious to me, when I heard the trooper being questioned. He seemed to recognize his mistake, when questioned but was being intentionally obtuse, in order to avoid admitting his error. I know there's plenty of people out there who wouldn't pick up on the problem and I'm really glad you made a clear simple video, with visuals, explaining it in a way that everyone can understand. The prosecutor and all the other lying frauds should be criminally prosecuted for trying to pin this on Ms. Reed. She just lost her loved one and they immediately try blaming her for the death, when it was clear from the beginning that she didn't do it. They're doing it for the sole purpose of protecting the person who did do it. Despicable.

I'm sure that you are aware of the state's new theory that the testing which Paul performed were actually done exclusively during key cycle 1167 and not 1164-1167- It makes a lot of sense Trooper Paul was wrong about when his testing showed up in the Techstream data. The starting point for his theory is to assume that Trooper Paul's testing actually began at key cycle 1167. This means all the triggers that are shown on key cycles 1164 and 1165 are not from Trooper Paul's testing. From this you can count backwards and make the triggers on 1162 match up with Karen Read's drive to/from Fairview on 1/29/22. Counting backwards, we get the following: 1167: Trooper Paul's testing -- triggers showing antilock braking, sudden braking, etc. These triggers make sense in terms of what Trooper Paul described doing in his tests. 1166: Car taken off the flatbed and driven into the sallyport -- no triggers 1165: Car loaded onto flatbed in Dighton -- 1 traction control trigger 1164: Car driven by Bill Read from 1 Meadows in Canton to Dighton. Near the end of the drive, the car gets stuck in the snow for about 6 minutes, thus recording the triggers we see on key cycle 1164. Those triggers are all of the "accelerator pedal is medium or higher immediately after shifting" variety. The odometer is at 12665 for this trigger, and also on the next trigger (1165). 1163: Car driven by Karen Read at 5am from 1 Meadows to various locations in Canton, then back to 1 Meadows. -- no triggers 1162: Car driven by Karen Read from the Waterfall to 34 Fairview, then to 1 Meadows. -- Two triggers, including the one that, according to the CW, allegedly shows the moment John O'Keefe was hit. Either nearly all the cops that testified in this case are dishonest or incompetent. I would be terrified to live in Massachusetts. The Massachusetts police association announced how horrified they were with Trooper Proctor's misogynistic texts, while in the same press release saying "The Association is proud of the work our members do each day, as well as the fact that our Massachusetts homicide solve rate is the envy of the country," Considering Proctor has been accused of framing Karen and there's significant evidence supporting this... did they really not see the implication of that statement?

So one thing that I think people are getting confused about is assuming that Key Cycle 01164 was actually the FIRST time that Trooper Paul began his crash reconstruction tests in the Lexus and then working back from there based on the known Key Cycles. One thing to consider is the possibility that when Key Cycle 01164 occurred, it could've been after there had been several more Key Cycles that we don't know about. What if Key Cycle 01162 was actually the first time they did a "crash reconstruction test" in the Canton PD parking lot, causing that triggering event that they're trying to say was Karen Read reversing into John? Then they drove the 36 miles to make it look like it matched up with when Karen would've hit John? So it's true to say that when Karen dropped off John at 34 Fair View a little after midnight on January 29th, 2022 that would've been Key Cycle 01159 OR UNDER (meaning it could NOT have been at Key Cycle 01162 as alleged by the Common Wealth and Mass State Police). For all we know it could've been at Key Cycle 01155 when Karen dropped John off at 34 Fair View and then once the Lexus was in police custody, there could've been other Key Cycles that we don't know about and Key Cycle 01162 could've been when the Lexus had already been at Canton PD for a few days and they could've caused that triggering event (which they're accusing Karen of doing when she supposedly hit John) and then they could've driven the Lexus 36 miles following that Key Cycle in an attempt to make it appear that it was when Karen drove it to her parents to make the Lexus Tech Stream data match on the report but they accidentally screwed up the Key Cycle count and exposed themselves. In other words, Key Cycle 01162 wasn't necessarily when the Lexus was driven onto the tow truck in Dighton, it could've been (and likely was) at a later point in time, after it had already arrived at the Canton PD Sally Port. They didn't necessarily have to actually drive the Lexus 36 miles out on the street but could've used a dynanometer or 'Dyno' which is typically used to test horsepower and goes under the tires and allows them to rotate freely without the car actually traveling anywhere (kinda like a hamster wheel for cars). So they could have added those 36 miles in the Sally Port by putting it on a Dyno and pushing the accelerator in Drive until it recorded 36 miles. Or it could've been done after they picked up the car from Dighton but before it actually arrived at the Sally Port because it did take a suspiciously long time to tow it from Dighton to Canton PD, even in the bad weather conditions. Shouldn't have take an hour and 15 minutes to go 36 miles yet somehow they towed the car at 4:12 and it didn't arrive at the Canton PD Sally Port until 5:30 (1:18 minutes) which would mean the average speed of the tow truck was approximately 28 mph as it drove (mostly on the highway) from Dighton to Canton. That's extremely slow, even for blizzard conditions (but if there was heavy traffic or some other detours, that could also explain the unusually long transportation time). But either way, all we know for certain based on the Key Cycles is that Karen Read could not have caused those triggering events in which they claim she accelerated in reverse at 24.2 mph, and hit John O'Keefe because she couldn't have had the car when that triggering event occurred, based on the Key Cycles which don't lie. But we know who does lie, Trooper Proctor and Trooper Bukhenik and probably everyone else they work with. Great video and thank you for making it easier for people to understand the Key Cycles because that was something I was screaming about since it came up during Lally's Direct Examination and I realized they don't match up to when Karen dropped John off but most people seemed to have a hard time understanding what it meant because it can sound more confusing than it actually is, especially with Trooper Paul mucking it up during Alan Jackson's cross examination. I thought Jackson would bring up the Key Cycles again later with one of their own experts to make it crystal clear for the jury and was a little surprised that he didn't but I'm sure at least one or two of the jurors understood what Jackson was saying when he crossed Trooper Paul on it. I still thought they should've pounded that fact harder because initially, the triggering event which they claimed occurred when Karen dropped off John, was very hard for me to get over or rationalize in my mind and I thought it was one of the first pieces of evidence that really suggested that Karen Read may have actually hit John, and that she had likely done so intentionally, until I realized that the Key Cycles don't match up, which then caused me to become 100% sure that Karen Read was innocent and that they were framing her. Maybe at the next trial they'll go deeper into the Key Cycles and make it crystal clear that Karen Read could not have caused that triggering event at Key Cycle 01162 (if there actually ends up being another trial). God bless.

Scary how invasive these system can be, but also as in this case, if they do have date/time of those cycles, and anyone on that jury can explain it as you did to the others she will probably be found not guilty. As a side note, most if not all cars in the US have 4 positions, off/lock - accessory - on - start. It’s possible that the ecm/bcm sees acc and on as the same. Great video! This happened about 20 miles from me and I have always thought something wasn’t right.

I like your work and your style! It would be good to see you create a graphical representation of 2 things. 1, the lexus backing out of the garage, hitting the travers, but from the other angle, if you can get the actual heights of the tail light, and recreate where it hit, like where it would have made contact with the travers. One commentator suggested the tail light may have hit the rear wiper? Also, if JO was standing in the way the prosecution suggests, with his exact hight, and the hight of the tail light, it would be great to see you do a graphic animation where do they match up in relation to the marks on his arm! Let us know if you make those videos!
