I think the Karen was more drunk than anything. The way it's described makes it seem like the Karen is a bit drunk and I've seen drunk girls and they are very touchy.

I went to a George Strait concert to watch him perform and listen to his music. Like everyone else there, I had my assigned seat, but there were 3 young people right in the row in front of me, that just felt compelled to stand, dance, and splash their beer all around while hooting and hollering. I couldn't see the stage and the overhead screens were partially blocked, not to mention their incessant hooting and hollering and their dancing in the narrow space in front of their seats. After awhile, I asked them if they could sit so that those behind them could watch the show. They ignored me. After a few more requests for them to sit, the one girl spun around and barked at me, "WE PAID GOOD MONEY FOR THESE SEATS!!!". I barked back, "SO DID WE!!". She turned around and continued to ignore us. I went to security and asked them if they could do something. They just responded "what are we supposed to do "? I asked "isn't it your job"??? They just stood there acting dumb. So because a few people felt it necessary to rudely act up, blocking the view and cause a loud commotion in the name of "enjoying the concert", my experience was totally ruined, when all those three had to do was sit down in their assigned seats and shut up, like the extreme vast majority of people at the concert were doing, and show a little respect to the others. I think the OP in the first story was the jerk. If they had been in a movie theater, their actions wouldn't be tolerated, what makes him think it is okay to do it at a concert?

2nd story: Main character syndrome all the way. She thot the world revolved around her but in reality only this one relationship did. Whenever OP had something going on in her life, she tried to make it about her. When she got cut out, she could not understand why so she made a grand gesture of making OP the maid of honor. It's really weird when someone bases their whole life around someone else but then is extremely mean to that person. They either want to push the relationship as far as they can out of curiosity or they cannot fathom this person leaving them so they don't think about the consequences of their actions.

Story #3: get out of that job and find a job with good managers. I also work in a restaurant and I have amazing managers. They are out talking to customers, helping me and some of the others in the back, and are generally great people. I’ve done well there so I’ve gotten a few raises. Overall my advice is to find a new job.

My (now) boyfriend and I have been friends for almost 6 years. I took my granddaughter to a concert (Hunter Hayes) after a back injury. My granddaughter was standing enjoying the concert while I sat nursing a sore back. A particularly obnoxious girl in the seat behind stood jumping around while holding on to my seat, putting me in agony. This went on for several songs. I finally turned around, told her to get the F off my chair and swung my cane at her. She and her friend relocated quickly. I took extra pain relievers that night.

Honestly, I think the OP was the Karen in the first story. If they were telling the person behind them to watch the screens, why couldn't they watch them also. Op got the tickets for free and the people behind them most likely paid for theirs. I don't know about anyone else, but if I PAY to see someone, I better be able to SEE them.

I was a head store manager. I trained everyone extremely well .. I taught them by doing... Then doing together.. Then them doing while i stood by in case they needed help... But my top rule was i will not ask anyone to do anything that i wouldn't do... And as a manager i would support the staff... If they needed help, if the line got long or the store got busy, i was on top of it... The store was my responsibility so i did everything with everyone and my management duties.... If you cant do something or help with a smile. Don't bother!!!

I asked a lifelong friend out once (we litterally have been around eachother since birth) and was immediately turned down. Still friends. For Story #5: My Parents and I were on a trip to Hawaii during which time we were staying at the Disney Aulani resort and one of the female employees actually started complimenting me on my rings and I obliviously said thank you and as we walked away my dad said “Wow. A woman was actually flirting with our eldest son.” For context my younger brother is a bit more attractive than me and while I am a bit handsome in my own way I am somewhat oblivious when it comes to women. However I think that female employee was only flirting with me because she was trying to get me to pay to join the Disney Vacation Club and I just don’t have that kind of money.

#1 what a charachter arc on the first one huh? -oh yeah, i grew up with a karen, thats her actual name, but shes a genuinely amazing mother who i wouldn't trade for anything. She was strict when it came to parenting but thats for the better and expect for one or two time of having to speak to the manager (which were totally justified cases imo) she has always been nice to customers service reps as she works admin/front desk flr her company. But it was obvious whatever barriers had would come down, especially around the "saucy" point of the night, sometimes alcohol does wonderful things Also my parents got divorced about 9 months ago (nothing serious just lack of love from both sides) she decided to change to Ren which was her high-school nickname because she hated her name since before the stereotype existed. There are good karens out there just remember that please #2 as someone who is very close with my cousins (im and only child so they're the closest thing i have to siblings), that story was wild. Good on op for actually saying enjoy my sloppy seconds. Cause honestly it seems like the cousing wanted her to be jealous... hes OP's ex why would she care lol😂
