Last: Around 50 years ago, when I was a student, I was travelling in a 50 seater bus of our city's transport svc. I casually mentioned to the conductor (takes money and issues tickets) that it must be tough dealing with the public. Casually pointing to the 6 seats reserved for women and 4 for elderly persons all filled with young/ middle aged men in good physical shape. He sighed and said "I almost got into fights until my colleagues told me to take it easy". So I casually mentioned, loudly, "Maybe the spray painted signs should read [for women and eunuchs only]". He laughed loudly as the 10 gents turned and stared at me with venom!

Not like they're gonna get to use it acting like that anyway. Nothing less attractive than a man who won't follow societal niceties nor read signs.

Were there elderly people on the bus at the time needing the seats? If not, then it only makes sense that they'd be used by somebody and not be wasted I'm sure that if someone came on that needed the seat, such as an elderly man or a pregnant woman, they would have given up their seat to them Here in the US, most buses have handicapped seating as well as seats for pregnant women but if no one currently needs to use it, it's open for anyone

I remember one time I threw my back out (muscular, no damage, happens a couple times a year.) I was roughly in my late '30s and in really good shape at the time. I had to do the grocery store thing, so I hobbled slowly on my cane and took one of the electric carts. Even with my cane very obviously in the basket, I got a lot of side-eye. Contrast this to the lady who was shopping in Wal-Mart with an electric cart, and her two healthy tween daughters had take two more of the carts and were zipping around playing bumper cars with them. I probably should have said something, but as my man TJ said, "Arguing with those who have foregone the use of Reason is like administering medicine to the dead."

For real My mother was accused of faking her disability by our building maintenance man because according to him she looked like she could walk fine years ago she had surgery on both her knees the scars ran up and down her legs and surgery on the bottom of her spine she still felt the effects years later she did not wear shorts often needless to say me and my siblings were not happy with this man

@@MarkStockman-b4j Sometimes, when I go to Walmart, or some other store, I see some of those mobility scooters left out in the parking lot. So, since I'm not a total ahole, I roll it back to the store entrance and plug it in for the next customer Since you have to sit on it to make it go and it's too heavy to push, I have to ride it in and I get stared at for doing so I don't care as I am doing a good deed and those people can apply mandible pressure to the least muscular parts of my gluteus maximus

You have to love CCTV cameras. They are a good person's best friend and a bad person's worst enemy. They make everyone that views the video a witness to the event. An excellent Karen deterrent system.

Somehow these Karen assault stories are more believable when other customers come to the victim’s rescue. I always wonder if the smartphone enthusiasts video everybody, hoping to catch an incident. It’s the only way they would have relevant evidence, not the tail end of the incident (if they managed to get the phone out, select the right app and press record in time, that is).
