I took care of my in laws 24/7 for 13 years. My mother in law could make an old shoe taste good. Once she became unable to cook, she enjoyed coming up with new recipe ideas. One day, I was going to make meatloaf. She suggested doing a BBQ meatloaf. We mixed in onions, garlic, chopped sweet Italian peppers and BBQ sauce. We threw that and some baking potatoes on the grill. It was delicious 😊

Love meat loaf, I do mine similar to yours, I also like brown gravy instead of red. I use a potatoe masher on my potatoes and I like to leave some lumps in the potatoes - that's the way I like them.

Hi Karen, I know I am late to this party but I am glad that I watched. Your food looks yummy and also nutritious too. I love your southern accent when you speak. It makes me lonesome for Texas. I know you are in Alabama but still a sister from the South. I have never made gravy just did not have the talent. When I made meatloaf I used ketchup or mild honey BBQ for a gentle topping.
