LETS SEE WHAT THIS POWER WASHER DOES

In today's video it's all about cleaning up the place a bit between fields, the crush and starting on the shed. I show off my new backing bar thanks to Bo Steel for sending it out and the new power washer I got in Galvin of Ballymcelligot recently.

You should get "Forefront T" and spray the nettles by the crush. We had the same problem and I gave them a good soaking a few years ago with it and they haven't come back since.

If you are going to sow again I would recommend. pure graze It is a herb-rich mixture that actually grows on any soil and under any weather conditions. I started with it six years ago, initially with one hectare, but now I have forty hectares in it.

Kenotek cleaning products are very good you should try some of them. Also there’s a small mesh filter on the powerwasher you should check it and keep it clean it will effect the power of the machine

The power washer is going to be used a lot. You suddenly see things that it can be used on. At least that is my experience. I even used it on weeds in narrow spaces. That backing bar looks like it means business. I would have loved one instead of the poles! Enjoy the cooler weather while you have it. It's been so hot here in Florida. 36.6C and add the humidity in and it feels like 42.2C. Not fit for man nor beast.

Before the days when you needed to be licensed to buy / use chemicals we used a weed wiper mounted on a quad with round-up in it on reeds / rushes with great success it was mounted high enough to miss the grass, just wiping the tall weeds/ rubbish, I did one area in the autumn, come the spring they were still there, I was annoyed and kicked one which just fell apart never to grow again! the wipers are still available, if no sprayer guy has one maybe you could buy one for them to use? it could be better than constantly having to mow, I've been there, it's frustrating.

I left the UK a few years ago to live in the USA, your FB page keeps coming up on mine as 'someone you might now' take care and try and keep a work life balance, I know it's not easy.
