How to crochet my easy new born baby converse style slippers is a set of videos for you to crochet along with and collect the free pattern from the description box, just click show more to find it, then copy and paste it. soles and base
Ch 12
R1. 3sc in 2nd ch from hk
Sc in next 3
Hdc in next 3
Dc in next 3
8dc in next (end of ch)
Dc in next 3

Sc in next 3
2sc in last (use hidden st)
Sl st to join in 1st sc
R2. Ch1, 2dc in next (next not same)
Dc in next 10
2dc in next 8

2dc in next 2 (yes use st at bottom of ch)
Sl st to join in 1st dc
R3. Ch1, sc in the back loop of the same space
Sc in the back loops of the next 41 (total 42 sc)

R4. Ch1, hdc in the same space (both loops)
Hdc in the next 41 (both loops) (total 42 hdc)

Fasten off, but don’t sew in loose ends just yet because this helps you to know which side is the outside, especially on the bigger sizes.

I am so thankful I stumbled on your videos! I have never made any type of clothing articles. I'm very new to crocheting, started out with the dishcloth and have been making blankets but after my exes' daughter told me she was having a baby girl, I made a baby blanket and I wanted to make more!! I thought I could make some slippers or something extra.... even though these ideas were way out of my crocheting ability. Or so I thought! Thanks to your tutorial, as well as the written instructions, I made my first ever, pair of pink baby Converse booties! I am so excited to give them to Mommy-to-be. If I were still in a relationship with her dad, I would have been a step-gran (at 40!!). Hi Karen.. firstly I would like to thank you immensely for making these videos, I made the petite ones but they were too small so made new born n they perfect, I can't find video patterns for the bigger ones, I'm an amateur at crocheting I've only been doing simple things since the lockdown, I find it easy following your videos because you are brilliant at explaining, I can't follow a written pattern as I need to see it in front of me.
