I can't put my finger on what it is about this song that grabs me. I absolutely love the lyrics, and as I mentioned on Twitter, the mixing is brilliant, as well as the music arrangement. I love every song I've listened to of yours, but this one in particular actually makes my eye orbs leak...haha! Well, you have a new friend! And I only just discovered your work over the past couple of weeks. Let's see-Holly Knight led me to revisit Phil X, who led me to you. Tremendous work, powerful songs, and you should be huge! I only hope the new record really garners some attention. And the other stuff really touches me, as so many of us experience the dark times at some point. Many of us haven't gotten to the other side yet. Helping them get here is my calling, as a psych nurse and human being. You've also provided the connection to someone in recovery, who I hope to hear more from. Blessing in disguise! I would not have had the time to piddle online for any of this if not currently home recovering from spinal cord injury and neck surgery. Well, it's that first month and a half when things aren't functioning and in a C-collar post-op that is most frustrating. Doing well enough to, hopefully, go back to work next week.
