That’s the thing. J.Lo’s If You Had My Love was originally for Michael Jackson with different verses. Chante’s story doesn’t really complete add up. Also Rodney Jerkins gave Chante (If I Gave You), J.lo (If You Had My Love) and Whitney Houston (If I Told You That) but Whitney’s production was changed at the last minute because Rodney felt her voice was overpowering her production.

Just discovered Chante - performing a Duet with the magnificent Dimash on the Chinese SINGER Show.. WHAT a phenomenol artist. HOW have I never heard of her? Well... now we are learning some of the 'how'... Been doing a quick catch up on her life and career. She's so professional, so skillful, just so damn GOOD! Chante really deserves every Award going. Her Singer performances revealed a Powerhouse Artist of Tina Turner stature with commanding stage presence, and all the nuances of Whitney etc., but smooth as butter. She's put the decades into her craft and it shows. With this new step out Internationally - I get the feeling her star will soar.
