Vocal Coach Reacts: ANDREA BOCELLI & CECILIA BARTOLI stunning "Pianissimo" filmed in idyllic Tuscany

I believe most people know Andrea Bocelli, who brilliantly carved out his own path throughout his career. Because of him being visually impaired for most of his life, he probably couldn't pursue a typical operatic tenor career, so had to be creative in finding ways to use his passion and gift to uplift and entertain millions. This he has done so well for so many years.
Andrea teamed up with the incredible soprano, Cecilia Bartoli, another Italian opera, Renaissance and Baroque superstar. I find it so refreshing that this song was written for these two powerhouse vocalists, to sing in a 'non-classical' or 'non-operatic' way. I usually really dislike opera singers who performs contemporary style songs in their operatic vocal application. Not so here.

I've not heard this song before, but I absolutely loved it from the very first note! In fact, I found myself tearing up from the sheer beauty of the song, the voices, and the setting. Hi Coach, first time coming across your channel. I love Andrea but I haven't kept in touch with his newer releases. By new I mean the last 14 years lol. This song was beautiful and I love how you broke down their performance here. And you're right the melody will be stuck in my head now. BTW I love the sound of your piano for some reason. As a side note, have you heard of Jakub Orlinksi? I'd love for you to react to him. He has many videos but the first one I've seen of him was him singing "Antonio Vivaldi "Vedro con mio diletto" from Il Giustino by Jakub Józef Orliński" here on KZbin. I just learned he also performed in the Olympics.

I discovered Cecilia about a year ago..absolutely love her since that day. Bocelli imo is overrated as a classical singer..he is indeed more of a crossover singer. The song is beautiful but I feel it also demonstrates that, within classical music, Cecilia vocally is a class above Andrea. But then again..many will say Cecilia is one of the best ever so...
