If Nikki Hiltz self identifies as non-binary, why does she only participate in women's events? Why not men's events as well???

Nikki would be destroyed in the men's 1500... ain't no way Nikki can run 3:35.

@@T1MB05L1C3 You're right, but that's not my point. Her position is 'I'm not a woman, and I'm not a man', but by golly gee she'll (oops, I said she) only race the woman. As Namfonos stated above, the sport might have to go with chromosomes...you're XX, you're in this race. And if you're XY, you run in the other race.

Non-binary refers to gender (men, women, transgender). Sports is about sex difference (male vs. female). The former is subjective, i.e., how you identify yourself. The latter is about biology, which you don't have any say in, unless you get a sex change operation and start taking hormones or hormone blockers. I don't think Nikki Hiltz has had a sex change. She's still a female.

@@tonydiaz2541 Four-minute mile. When Roger Banister became the first man to run a mile in less than 4-minute, that was a big deal. For a minute, I thought that a woman had now done it.
