Confederation makes more sense to me. Especially when playing as Karl, since he is the emperor. And the mechanical benefits like the electir count units and kegendary lords also make for more varied content.

@@MonstersAbound I Agree, it's annoying that factions that shouldn't care about each other hate the player faction for liking the other. I'm dealing with it in my Ghorst campaign.
