Do not come to Brazil. Brazil lives a dictatorship promoted by Alexandre de Moraes, member of brazilian supreme court. We see political persecution, censorship, journalist who have his passaport canceled without reazon etc... It is a tragedy. The socialists government has no credibility because the election was not fair. Moraes interfeered in election toward to benefit the most corrupted politician group Brazil ever had: the socialist. I like how you mention the cultural accent. It reminds me of Puerto Rico, where there's Spanish, indigenous, and African influence combined. I'll never get tired of watching drum circles anywhere, lol. It's so fascinating that the same people in West Africa, Los Angeles, Chicago, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Haiti, and Brazil know that a drum circle with good dancing is a good time. Never gets old.

Influences depend on the region here in Brazil. Take a look for example at videos "Gramado - Southern Brazil" or "Blumenau - Brazil". Would you think they are in Brazil or even Latin America?

@@PrinciplesofIncreaseTV , yes, we have many influences here, but I think that other influences besides African and Portuguese are not very known abroad, except in Latin America, Africa and a few in other continents because of the Brazilian cultural influence (soap operas, musics etc.). In general Brasil is seen as an "exotic" country and the international media highlights especially Carnival, beaches, Amazonia etc. So, many people abroad don't imagine other influences and get surprised.

Jeez, the big homie Yusef passed. Sorry for your personal loss and to his loved one. I think for the last few years, I've rediscovery you every few months so you're in different parts of the world. But his passing might be an issue you might want to explore in a video. I'm not sure if he was in the US or abroad, but topics like; repatriation, travel insurance, medical insurance, etc., And with all the REAL stuff going on in Columbia--how to have the phone numbers of the LOCAL police. As well as the number (AND location) of the US embassy of wherever you are traveling. I watched a guy named Julian traveling in Brazil, have his phone stolen and just trying to wing it. And also walking around with a GIANT vlog camera. Nope. On so many levels. So, I know your thing is being upbeat and investing, but a few tips you've learned might be something to consider.

Around 1900, the Brazilian government had a program to attract immigrants because slavery had ended (pushed by the Brits, who wanted "consumers" for their Industrial Revolution), and they lacked the labour force. The interior was inhabited, so they just gave land away in exchange for local development. That is why there are so many Japanese, German, Italian, Polish, Russians, Lebanese and so on, living peacefully in Brazil.

If you are born poor in Brasil there is no way to get out of poverty! It’s very hard. My parents left Brazil for Boston back in 1994 and they built a a great real estate portfolio here in Boston and Brazil. They are now 58 and retired with 21 all paid off properties in Brazil and 3 paid off properties in Boston. They are all set to retire and they built this from working 2+ jobs for many years. In Brazil they could never do this! I actually have cousins that are dentists in Brazil who came to Boston 2 years ago to work in construction because the money they make in Boston is higher! So Brasil is an awesome place to live if you already have money! If you don’t it’s a struggle to get out of the rat race there.

@@user-wq2yd5wp4junfortunately that is not true. I have a cousin that is an orthodontist and her husband an oral surgeon they had a private clinic in Minas Gerais, owned their own house and lived a very good life in Brasil. They sold everything and came to Boston MA where her husband works in construction and she works as a dental assistant. I asked her why she did that and she said she did not see a lot of growth potential in Brasil. I know of many attorneys, dentists and business owners who left Brasil for the USA because business is better in the USA. Now if you have passive income in Brasil, let’s says $5,000/month dollars a month you will live very comfortably. But it’s harder to create that there.

I don't think manufacturing in Brazil will ever hit China levels for two main reasons, 1. I don't see the Brazilian government ever investing that much resources into the education it'd take to get the Brazilian people up to the competency of the typical Chinese worker that deals with all of the equipment in those facilities, and two, China frankly is just more capitalist, both countries may be called socialist by the ill-informed, but the truth is Brazil is FAR more socialist than China is, China aside from a few very small socialist programs is 80 to 90% capitalist and that's just not the case for Brazil.

@@Karl__Pierre Yea, I mean it surprised me too, but you have to wonder why all these other countries went through their industrial revolution already and Brazil didn't, or atleast never fully went through it anyways. It's 2024 now and the latest countries to hop on that train were already doing it by the 80s. So you have to look at their regulations and tax structure, look at tariffs there ect ect, Brazil has massive tariffs and that just doesn't work with free trade, but they're not going to get rid of those tariffs because that's what they use to fund their welfare programs and subsidies of various kinds, and whether business minded people like us would love to see a fully free market Brazil, the people there love their subsidies man.

I have a love/hate relationship with Brazil. It’s one of the greatest worst countries in the world. Just saying, going to Brazil for holiday or to live there permanently are two very different things. I wouldn’t suggest moving to Brazil if you actively have to work there. If you are retired it’s another thing. Making money in Brazil is EXTREMELY hard as a foreigner unless you manage to make money online. Salaries are low, expectations are low. Cost of life got way more expensive due to inflation, crime rate went up due to the rising cost of life. Bureaucracy is infinite and scams are rampant, and that’s not even talking about the possibility of being robbed or killed over a phone or a motorbike. I love Brazil, but it’s better in small doses than being there full time. RIP Yusef, we had very interesting conversations.
