I think there's one Futurama quote that's works as a reply: Zapp Brannigan: In the meantime, we shall sing hits from the 80s. Kif Kroker: Which 80s sir? Zapp Brannigan: To me, there's only one 80s; Smell like I sound, lost and I'm found, and I'm hungry like the wolf....

Not even just the teen dramadies- we also got E.T., The Thing, Terminator, Predator, Commando, Aliens, Evil Dead, Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, etc. 80s were a magical time, so much so my parents raised me in the culture.

a hollywood remake would be atrocious but you can't deny that if done right, a remake could be extremely good and extremely RELEVANT for the crazy times we're living in. Especially here in the USA where these 5 teen stereotypes from the 80s have now been stretched to like 50 lol

Ever see that bit where Carl the janitor tells each one of them how he sees them ending up as adults? Bender dead from drugs, Brian financially successful but killed young by heart attacks due to career stress, Allison basically ignored and invisible as she already sees herself but actually a damn good poet, Claire with multiple plastic surgeries and a philanderer of a husband, Andrew with a lousy job and an overweight wife. A movie that brings the 5 together again as adults and shows what happened in their lives after high school would be interesting to see. Was Carl right or wrong?

I can imagine all the young fictional characters from cartoons getting together in one place and discussing their issues like these teens are doing and dancing to the same beat of this wonderful song, movies or cartoons, never underestimate the youth! 🤘😎

Jimmy Shoemaker.............NO it isn't. I used to be like you with a number of women from the 1970s and 1980s. Then we all got old and they started gaining weight and losing their appeal. Molly Ringwald in The Pick Up Artist. Best look for her ever. Nowadays.............eeehhhhhh???
