The Breakfast Club (1985) SYNOPSIS: Five high school students from different walks of life endure a Saturday detention under a power-hungry principal (Paul Gleason). Originally, this scene was supposed to be just Molly RIngwald dancing, but she was embarrassed to dance by herself. So, director John Hughes told the rest of them to go out and dance with her. There was no choreography. It was all pretty much ad-lib.
