I absolutely agree with you that Mika is a aggressive brat. There was no need for Mika to get aggressive towards Karla because it's not Karla's fault she has aspergers disorder. Honestly, I don't like Mika because she's snotty and always has a bad attuide towards others in the programme.

I actually have Asperger syndrome and I know Waterloo Road is only a TV series and it's fictional but it's disgusting to see poor Karla getting bullied. Sadly, it happens in real life and I also have been a victim of bullying. It's not fun and it's disgusting that people have to victimize and pick on autistic people.

I have Asperger’s syndrome myself and I used to get tricked into having friends when I was at school, it wasn’t an easy journey for me back then, I was always alone and ate my lunch in the toilets and spent breaks in there as I didn’t want to get picked on

Well, it's worth bearing in mind that Mika was going through a bit of an alcoholic stage. Might have had something to do with the way she spoken to Karla, plus the heartbreak and Chlo going missing etc etc

I’m really quite skeptical about the whole concept of A.S.D. per-se (the way it’s conceptualised, at least) but Karla’s story (whatever exact Iabel you’d ascribe to her) was very, very good. The irony in it is that those-two girls ended up becoming super-close to Karla. That was a heartwarming moment.
