Dear Massimo, I am a doctor in the USA, I am also a pianist. Music is my life, not my livelihood. I follow you on KZbin. I play a Steinway B in my home studio. Keith Emerson and I became acquainted near the end of his life. We were going to work on a project together. Watching and hearing your playing always inspires me. We, who are left behind carrying the Emerson torch seem to find each other. My piano repertoire has largely been original compositions based on my Emersonian upbringing. My ability to play Keith's extraordinary pieces like this one is limited by my professional obligations in medicine. I so appreciate your inspiring dedication in presenting a piece like this. I am certain this took you considerable time, effort and passion. You have left us all a remarkable interpretation of one of ELP's finest works. But, this is what I have come to expect from you as an artist. During this difficult time in history when Italy and the world are facing grave challenges from Covid19 I wish you the best of health, prosperity and continued ability to share this kind of artistry with all the world. This is what makes life worth living. Your passionate commitment to the art of piano is a divine talent. God Bless You, Massimo! Bravo!

Thank you so much for your long, interesting and touching comment. This very difficult moment is particularly dramatic for you doctors who risk and sometimes lose your life to heal and save others. Now more than ever we have to thank you for your hard work. Best wishes for such health to you too, dear Adam.

Nobody is appreciated in their own time. Sometimes, if one gets old enough, it happens. I believe Emerson lived long enough to hear the Tokyo Philharmonic perform Tarkus.

Indeed, when Keith Emerson died, his compositionsl skills also died along with him. The music he left behind, many people can play and duplicate, but his talent of what instruments to use and how to incorporate them within his music, all lost. Thank goodness he lived in an age where his recordings can live on forever. I often listen to "Take a Pebble", listed as a Greg Lake composition, but the keyboard work, pure Emerson, and when played live, never played the same way twice. Indeed, a major loss to the keyboard world and music in general.
