Im not a fan of Xross Wars but I appreciate what it tried to do. The ending was sick though seeing everyone come back. I personally love that you went with Lilith Mutant. Imagine the implications of a main cast member having to deal with their partner digivolving into a version of one of their enemies. It's genius

For AlturBallistamon I think Justimon could work since it has the red and blue carried over, Justimon's arm carries over machine aspects, and since bugs are associated with Kamen Rider it can work for the Kamen Rider inspired Digimon.

It does strike as a bit odd that Justimon isn't bug-themed like the also Kamen Rider inspired Stingmon, Shadramon, Jewlbeemon, Hudiemon and TigerVespamon (and possibly Banchou Stingmon but that one's a bit looser and only even is considered because of base Singmon's design being part of its design). I mean Riderman was one of the several grashopper kamen riders from the Showa era. There's also other digimon that look like generic toku heroes like five of the human spirit digimon, Sakuyamon, Kuzuhamon, Gankoomon and Beelzemon (who even has both a mask and a motorcycle in spite of looking more like a biker gang type than a kamen rider lol) but Justimon was clearly based on Riderman, there's definitely no doubt about it.

A fun future Xros Wars custom art video could be what if Shoutmon's army pals and Greymon's army pals were swapped. So Greymon gets Ballistamon and Dorulumon, while shoutmon gets Mailbirdamon and Deckerdramon.

It's awesome to give Xros Wars some love! The season was great, I enjoyed it. Good picks for full evos lines. I also see VictoryGreymon as a solid Mega for Shoutmon. Omega Shoutmon gets its power from Omnimon, so a Greymon variant seems appropriate and VictoryGreymon is visually a good fusion of both Shoutmon and OmegaShoutmond visually. And the V imagery on Shoutmon's design nicely translates into the V for VictoryGreymon.

I think it’s cool you went down the plant route for Ren’s Dracmon. I always saw the focus being more based on the mask. While they are newer releases, maybe Xingtianmon and Dijiangmon could work as evolutions?

Sparrowmon to me looks and feels like a rookie Digimon especially with how goofy and kind of childish it was in the anime, it felt like a rookie partner for Nene specifically but then again Gatomon is a champion but looks like it could be a rookie. An alternate Megas for Shoutmon are Examon (good evoluton) and Dorbickmon (Dark evolution) since they're both kings in a way with Examon being king of the dramons and Dorbickmon being the dramon army commander and Shoutmon wants to be a king. Examon is when Shoutmon is a good and just king and Dorbickmon is when he is a Tyrant. For Cutemon his alternate Mega could be either Lunamon or Cherubimon since they both look like rabbits.

Before Shoutmon (King ver.) was confirmed as an Adult, I always liked Red V-dramon for the slot of Shoutmon's Adult. They're very visually cohesive, red humanoid dragons with V-shaped horns, and games have used that line. I didn't think of Durandamon as the Ultimate but honestly I'm shocked at how well it follows OmegaShoutmon, both being golden edgy Digimon with sword legs. For Cho-Hakkaimon, I like LovelyAngemon as the Ultimate more, as a fallen angel regaining her place. I never thought of Pillomon for the Child but that actually works pretty well, and it stops you from cross-contaminating with the million of Tailmon lines that already exist (plus Tailmon Child is a weird thing in and of itself). For Psychemon, while I get using the typical Belphemon line, I think a logical Adult could be Gururumon too. And for the Ultimate, Quartzmon is technically the canon one. I can't believe there's no good choice for a Ballistamon Ultimate. This series loves turning anything into robots, how the hell is there no robot bug Ultimate? Hell, it'd be a completely logical upgrade from Cannonbeemon, far more than the very unfitting (if still extremely cool) TigerVespamon.

As a person who doesn't love Xros Wars this was a fun video.I will always give this season credit that it's regular formed Digimon partners I.E Shoutmon, Cutemon, Dorulamon, Ballistamon, Spademon, Sparrowmon and so on are great looking Digimon. Like some of my favorites so I would love to see a custom art video for them! Also glad someone else did the idea of Cutemon maybe one day becoming Lordknightmon. I know when I do a lot of my Pink Pretty Cure Ideas for partners Cutemon is my favorite pic for a rookie. Unless the character is Plant Based then Lalamon is perfect.

I like the Digimon crossover stuff. Something I think could be fun to see would be two different approaches to the Zoids franchise. First off, deciding Digimon partners for Zoid pilots/warriors; secondly, Digimon based on Zoids, and fits great with the fact that Zoids are operated by a number of advanced computer system, and quite a few even have artificial intelligence units to operate them and give them a bit of their own personality.

For Ballistamon’s mega I just go with Omedamon the medabots mega and say maybe he has some medabot data in him because he’s also a robot beetle like the two main medabots if you need some kind of logic to it. Also I like these kind of videos over custom art ones because it’s interesting trying to figure out how to take what is already given and make the most out of it in interesting ways and many of these ideas I didn’t think of before like Mailbirdramon to Cargodramon. Custom art videos are good too, especially for new digimon ideas, but these kind of videos satisfy some part of my brain a lot more for some reason.

Seeing more Xros Wars content is quite nice. For evolutions, another two candidates for Dorulumon in regards to preevolution that could work are Herissmon and Gatchmon, the former with its standard evos having drills, namely in Stiffilmon and the latter with the ambiguous cat/dog appearance in the media , despite Dorulumon being a wolf.

How Xross Wars handled evolutions and levels is my main gripe with the series. The manga was a major improvement over the anime though and having full evolutions for Ballistamon and Sparrowmon would rule.

Xros Wars has always had a special place in my heart (and getting this after a rough day was just great). ...not gonna lie when I say hearing some of these levels drove me up a wall. Sparrowmon looks more like an Ultimate to me and I just imagined it being a Patamon ultimate before this level stuff. Never knew Shoutmon's other form from part three was a Champion. I know they made OmegaShoutmon into an Ultimate (thank you ReArise), but just never knew that bit.

As a Xros Wars fan, I would love to see more from this this underrated series. For Shoutmon, I can kind of see Shoutmon to RedVeedramon (from Next Order) to Wargrowlmon and then Examon for a red dragon theme although Wargrowlmon I'm not as satisfied since it's part of Takoto's Guilmon. But RedVeedramon has been used a lot less and Examon being a big dragon and Shoutmon's mic being turned into Examon's blade weapon is a nice touch even if it's a stretch.

This was a great video with a lot of interesting and cool choices for evo lines and honestly I prefer when you pick from pre-existing digimon. I feel it forces a type of creativity thats different (not better or worse) than the art videos. I did wanna throw my digimon geek hat into the conversation though to not that in the digital monster 25th anniversary museum and exhibit, in the Digimon factions chart that was on display the legend arms were featured and Armamon was not present leaving its actual status as a legend arm dubious. I think if possible going through the LS-Tou zone dialogue in the game and theorizing about Armamon as a Legend Arm would be a cool conversation for the community but that's just my two bits

Xros Wars did some interesting things and introduced some awesome new mons like Dark Knightmon, Tactimon, and Shoutmon at a time when the franchise was kinda at a low point. I would love to see some of these be revisited in a more traditional adventure style series.

I remember having some thoughts on if the other cross wars partners were the "base" for the digi-cross evolution. Kinda like how exveemon and stingmon make both paildramon and dinobeemon, ballistamon and shoutmon could possibly make ballistamon X2 instead of shoutmon X2. Not sure how much it'd change, but it'd definitely show more as you went up the evolution line to X3, 4, and so on.
