I love that Panjomon X has a fur pelt for his cape while Leomon has a cloth cape. Really solidifies the different climates they would live in. Leomon in savannahs, where heat retention is less important, and Panjomon in the tundra, where heat retention is crucial to survival.

Blue Greymon X is such a cool design. It’s got the Xros Wars design elements, but it also has the gloves from 2010 Agumon, the red stripes from Black Agumon X, and the horns remind me of Gaioumon a little bit too. Just a big Agumon family mashup!

I personally like the like the X-variants of DarkTyrannomon, both MetalGreymons, Lilithmon and Gallantmon. For the first three and Gallantmon, their X designs just feel more geared towards combat in the merciless areas of the Digital World, which it has a lot of, while Lilithmon X just gives me more of those evil, but semi-fair ruler vibes. I'm also kinda disappointed that we don't have much on the origin on the X-Antibody or the virus it counters. My personal theory is that both were made from Alphamon's data. I mean what better way for Yggdrasil to have a way to wipe 99% of the digimon out then with your strongest warriors power (Yes, I think Alphamon is the strongest Royal Knight). Plus it also sort of explains to me why Alphamon was Dorumon in X-Evolution and seemed to not remember being a Royal Knight.

I like your idea, what if Ygdrisal, not sure how to spell the name, used a code with Alphamon's digcore and re-engineer it into the X Program. Of course figuring it out Alphamon is able to share the code giving and creating the X-Antibody code. Maybe Ygdrisal missed on other digimon having the same code or opted to use Alphamon for a stronger X Program.

Definetely agree about Metalgaurumon, Panjyamon (and totally agree about it working well from Sorcerimon) Virus greymon, and Pternomon (who might also be my #1!) I'd also say Anomalocarimon / Scorpiomon X (the rainbow colors and claws look great!), Mephismon X (mary poppins baphomet is so silly it becomes cool again) and Cerberumon X (I think the more humanoid, but still hunched over look and bigger claws and sideburns he has looks cool, almost like a Dark metalgarurumon X) would be on my list.. Keramon (alongside Kuramon and Diaboromon/Diablomon) is tied for my top favorite Digimon, so while I LIKE Keramon X, and apperciate it's otherworldly biblical angel look, I don't like it quite AS much as the default's demented alien jester look. Similarly, while I LIKE Impmon X, and def agree it flows into Wizarmon X more then Impmon does (I also think Ogremon X flows into Rebellimon better, on that note), Impmon X undermines the whole impish evil jester look I love that it (and Keramon) had, that's akin to say the Dark Fly Chao from Sonic Adventure 2 or the Nightmare animation in Pokemon Stadium 2. A lot of Japanese media has those evil jesters and it's an archtype I absolutely love.

While, I too found myself in the camp of not personally agreeing with the choice of Impmon X, I quite agreed with that of Leomon and Panjyamon X, as well as that of Metalgarurumon X, and Ogremon X, for their stylistic differences and additions to all of these classic Digimon. I love that Leomon X Antibody's cape comes from Dukemon/Gallantmon. There's a few other connections like this in X Antibodies like Otamamon x had PrinceMamemon's crown and becomes round like a Mamemon and even gets a smiley attack, and GrandisKuwagamon's profile mentions BlackWarGreymon and his claws look and are named similarly. I also like how the new X antibody emphasize the crystals and X motif like how Tyrannomon X had Crystals despite not being mecha and GreymonBlue X and Impmon X etc have red Xs.

One thing I will say is that, in my opinion, OmegaShoutmon being a little on the thin side makes sense given it's meant to sort of evoke Omnimon, and Omnimon is a little thin. Plus, given the toyetic combination, making it too bulky would've been a problem. (Ignoring the fact OmegaShoutmon never got his toy...)

Personally, I think Lucemon X is probably the best X Antibody out there. Gives us that full 'Light' design that the line is missing and the very Seraphic, almost God-like design seems like something that would naturally 'unfold' from the Larva Mode and is the perfect ultimate form for him.

Virus metal greymon x is my favourite x antibody...yes its over designed, but I honestly love it ...its also a cool bit of story telling that it has alterious modes upgraded cannon in it base form.. hinting at maybe it was an alterious metal greymon before being corrupted by the x antibody and becoming a virus digimon at the same time.. but that's just a theory ...

BlueGreymonX has to be one of my favorite X-Antibody forms as well, it has such a great mixture of design elements! Something else that was incorporated into its design was Geogreymon’s arm bands! I was also pleasantly surprised to learn Omega/OmniShoutmon has an X-Antibody and it looks pretty cool! Definitely one of my new favorites.

Given the mystical heritage of Halloween, go look up the Celtic holiday Samhain; I think at some point in the month, there should be an episode addressing Witchenly variants of Digimon or turning existing Digimon into their own Witchenly variants; Gallantmon already has a Witchenly variant in MedievalGallantmon, but I don't know if that variant has anything like an X-Antibody form, but I do think the rest of the Tamers partner Digimon should at least get their own Witchenly variants as well.

Examon X, easy. Dracomon is my favourite Digimon. I adore the Blue line, and the Green line is also there... mostly I like the Green line for giving it a cool DNA digivolution. Examon is a really cool Digimon, it's the Welsh Dragon! But as a fusion of Slayerdramon and Breakdramon it feels off - if not for Examon needing to be red, it seems like it and Slayerdramon ought to swap. Then blue would be this big dragon, green a giant machine, combining to make an armoured dragon knight - which would make a lot more sense for a Royal Knight! Examon X takes the best of Examon and gives it awesome Slayerdramon armour, and just generally elevates the design, especially for the calling of Royal Knight.

X-Antibodies that I think heavily improve on a base digimon's design are Cyberdramon X, Dracomon X, and Garudamon X. The issue I always had with Cyberdramon was that it had the dragon part right, but only the face looked "cyber". Cyberdramon 2010 has a better design because it looks like an organic machine. But Cyberdramon X looks like what I think the base one should have been, a dragon robot. Dracomon X I think is a massive improvement on the base one which was simplistic but still good. Dracomon X keeps the simplistic look but it makes it look more draconic and feral. And Garudamon X I just think looks way cooler than base Garudamon, making it look more like a Native American warrior and giving it a mix of a totem, crossbow, and spear as a weapon.

I love that Otamamon X antibody looks like he was supposed to be a child level Mamemon for them but it never actually happened anywhere. In his profile it says he even has a crowl from PrinceMamemon and a Smiley attack. That's why he turned all round. And I guess it's a joke on a frog being a prince (Mamemon) And there's no Gekomon and Tonosamagekomon X antibody yet. Mamemon X antibody is just cool he even has flames lol.

Off the top of my head I love Monzaemon X more than the original. They added so much new detail that made it cuter while keeping it true to Monzaemon and even unique from other X Antibody. The pink green slime is an amazing touch so now he's even creepier while being cuter and more connected to Numemon. Holydramon X antibody too. Most people might think it's too similar to the original. But it fixes its tiny wings which really bother me lol. Kokuwamon X because it's a transforming jet basically. I cant think of many other Digimon that can transform like mecha except Imperialdramon's mode changes and Gabumon Bond of Friendship so for this random bug guy to be a transformer is pretty great. Rhinomon and Nefertimon for a similar reason as the armours you posted at the end. Their original designs already looked armoured but I love the extra detail and how they match classic Digimon. It almost makes them match cyborg Digimon like MetalGreymon and MegaloGrowmon which is great. There are so many more I could list but it just boils down to them looking cooler lol.

I feel like X-Antibody stuff is the part of the franchise I'm most ignorant about, the lore for it is something I VERY recently learned about, but the idea of the X-Antibody Evolutions being survivors is awesome, so the ones I like the most are those that look like what that Digimon would look like in a Post Apocalyptic setting, like Impmon or Ogremon rather than those who just become spikier or more armed.

I personally adore Gankoomon X. The idea of a Royal Knight that's a spirited hand-to-hand combatant sounds amazing on paper, but the original Gankoomon just looks like a guy in spandex. Incorporating Hinukamuy into Gankoomon himself makes him look super ferocious and I like how they replaced the full-body spandex with a bare upper body to emphasize his hot-blooded nature. He sort of feels like a heroic version of Street Fighter's Akuma rather than some random middle-aged Japanese guy.

I had not seen that Ogremon X before; that is legit awesome! I wholeheartedly agree on him and Togemon X improving on the originals. I still haven't _quite_ warmed up to the "uglification" of my boys Leomon and Panjyamon, but I do very much appreciate the X-antibody giving them clear distinctions. I definitely appreciate the concept of MetalGarurumon X, but I think it suffers from a common downfall of so many of these X-antibody digimon in just making the design way too busy. Like, you almost can't get a good sense of what they actually look like without zooming in and focusing on their individual parts, if that makes any kind of sense? Also curious who voiced Wyrmmon in the intro. It is simultaneously very good and very bad (but in a good way).

Although, an explanation to the original not having much connection could be the fact that technically, an Impmon would be introduced to the data of Witchelny or converted from a pure Digimon to a cross-world Mon.

Completely random, but because of the black smoke frame you have on the screen at 11:06 the smoke makes your chest look fuzzy. Just thought that was funny. Also I think ogudomon x works better than the original, the seven legged beast that just runs around felt too clunky and impractical to me, X on the other hand flies and it's legs act as claws and its design is nightmare fuel, something you figure the fusion of multiple demon lords should be. It's more practical and does it's job.
