Absolutely delightful and a beautiful experience... Valivade, near Kolhapur is a historical place. Many refer to it as 'Little Poland'. This is the place where 5000 refugees from Poland lived. Karolina Goswami, who hails from Poland visits this place for the first time, and the scenes in Valivade are absolutely magical.
==================
As a foreigner living in India with my Indian husband, I want to create a stronger bond with our viewers by sharing events that occur in our everyday life, our travel-related stories from around the world, and of course, as a foreigner, my reaction to Indian food.
As an Indo-European couple, we are not only going to share a lot about our life in India, but my husband, Anurag, as an Indian in Europe, is also going to share his perspective about living or travelling in Europe.

India believes in the idea of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' (World in one family) that is why many religions coexist and people live in unity and always stand by each other. This is why today the name of many roads and schools in the capital of Warsaw in Poland are named after Maharaja Jam Saheb Digvijaysinhji Ranjitsinhji. It’s amazing how a ruler who lived so far away from Poland earned the respect and honour of the country and is still remembered today. Here’s the story of the Maharaja of Jamnagar in Gujarat, who owed to save some 1,000 Polish children when many countries refused to give them shelter during World War II. Pl. Visit Jamnagar, Gujarat also.

Tears in my eyes, what a history! Can’t thank you enough for shedding light on such a beautiful past of the nation 🙏🏻. Bharat was not independent yet at that time, yet the king and the people here created environment such that Polish people could feel freedom here as refugee! What could be more inspiring?? Who said one can’t give what they don’t have?! Pure heart and will is all one needs.

beautiful, only in India everyone finds space for them, guys and gals all over world respect India, India is example of pluralism and that is possible due to inclusive nature of Sanatan Dharma, Forest dwellers, mountain dwellers, nature worshippers, and five element worshippers• without such people and such philosphies there is no way pluralism can survive•

Anurag there is a very famous love story between a Polish girl and man from Kolhapur. They got married later, however her other siblings went back to Poland after the war was over. If you search on KZbin you will surely get the story.....so probably that was the first marriage between a Polish girl and an Indian man...and you have continued with that tradition.

Beautiful 🥰 Another informative blog. Yes we Indian believe in "vasudhaiva kutumbakam" Om Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah , Sarve Santu Niraamayaah, Sarve Bhadraanni Pashyantu Maa Kashcid duhkha bhaag bhavet | Om Shaantih Shaantih Shaantih || Therefore, here we are. Our civilization exists even after so many attacks. Many invaders tried to destroy our culture and civilization but they became history. And see we have recently celebrated our 76th Independence Day following our ethics. We do not belong to only one religion, our civilization inspires life to be lived on earth or a complete lifestyle. Thanks Anurag, Thank you for visiting this place with Karolona. The way Karolina has the Individualities, she must have liked this place very emotionally as you said. I pray to God that your journey is auspicious. My best wishes are with your family. Love you all 🥰🥰🇮🇳🚩

The closing statements is still valid in many parts of India. I am sure it’ll be true in other parts of the world. Humanity by itself is not totally bad. When other ingredients get into the mix that’s when these things are truly tested. Get job, Anurag. Thanks for sharing.
