Use a bathroom shower tension rod for above your kitchen sink and wrap the garland around it. Save yourself from damaging the walls. Looks great though. I love double duty decor.

Maybe temporarily where right your door is in your living room for the Christmas tree and thennn maybe make it open concept put together living room and dining room just all in one…put sofa by the hallway but not touch the wall and one chair beside tree and other chair beside tv and window… just try to align your sofa and tree and your coffee table in middle. Try it out karrie ☺️

For the garland your were thinking of putting above your kitchen window-get a tension rod, wrap your garland around it and it will hold it up from wall to wall for length of window. 🎄 Great video Karrie!

For the tree: I think either in front of the living room window like you said, and maybe just scooch the couch back a teeny bit OR if you could find a spot for the kennel I think the tree would look beautiful in that corner too!! I'd love to see you look into those end tables and/or buffet tables that have the kennels built into them!! Hey Friend, Happy Saturday. I enjoy getting decor on sale for the next year. I never knew you could ask to take the stems that fell on the floor thanks for the tip. Another budget friendly tip is that you can get a lot of holiday decor at dollar tree and they have some nice things. 😂😊 I am obsessed with flannels. I would definitely put the tree in the dinning room in front of the window! Just slightly move your table away from the window and put the tree there. Your dinning room will still be functional and your living room won’t feel crowded.

Hey Karrie I loved the video. Yes incorporating fall decor for Christmas or winter decor is an amazing idea. Instead of taking your TV down why not upload a photo to it. After all you painted the gold around the frame of the TV, so utilize the TV by putting up a Christmas photo of the family or one of your art work pieces. And you can have that going in the background as you film your videos through the Christmas season. I'd try the tree in the dining room in front of the window. It would cozy up the dining room a bit.

I love your decor! I think the tree would look amazing in front of the window, as long as it’s not too big-this way, you can keep the furniture layout as is! Your home is so cute, and all the updates you’ve made lately are absolutely gorgeous and inspiring! I can relate to your journey, Karrie! My family and I were in a smaller rental, and two years ago we bought our first home, a two-story. Honestly, my husband and I both regret it and wish we’d gone for a single-level with 3 bedrooms max. Taking care of 4 bedrooms, two levels, a big kitchen, a 3-car garage, and a large backyard is a lot of work! Don’t get me wrong, we love it-it’s beautiful-but maintaining it and keeping it clean is so much harder than in our smaller house. I just wanted to share this because, with two kids, we miss the closeness we had in our smaller home. It’s funny how more space can create more distance, both physically and emotionally, and I just miss that cozy feeling we had before! 💕✨

I am always moving furniture around!!! Please try swapping the two rooms around. It would be so cool to have your table by your fireplace. ( maybe you could take your tv down, just to see how you like it ) then put your tree in the new living room space. Would be pretty to have the Xmas tree reflect in the mirror ( hard to tell how big the mirror is, maybe try your full length mirror leaning on your wall. I would love to see this in a video 🎄 I think a lot of your viewers would also 🎄 Think how cozy it would be for your family to eat by the fireplace, or have a romantic dinner for two 🫶🏻 If you didn’t like it, you could change it back after Xmas 🎄🎅🏻🤷‍♀️

We have had it the other way before and it didn't work out. Great.Because of where my bedroom door is and the front door the way that it opens, it actually makes it harder to fit stuff on that side. If you go back on my channel about 3- 4 years ago I had it the opposite way and you can see the dilemma I had there.Honestly, my house is just awkwardly shaped 😅😅 i'm sure I'll figure it out based off of the comments I think I might try the tree in the dining room this year to see how it turns out.
