Think about this for a moment. So, Kars made the Stone Masks, yes? So, in a way, that makes Dio a “child” of his, in a “I-created-this-thing” sort of way. And in his Ultimate Form, Kars is able to manipulate any and all organic material, or something like that (correct me if I’m wrong). Then Dio has a child years later who gains the ability to give life to non-living objects (again, correct me if I’m wrong). Look, I read something about this on TV Tropes, but even before, I couldn’t help but make those connections. Maybe I’m making connections where there shouldn’t be any, but it just seems too convenient to be a coincidence.
