Thank you so much for your video's! Getting back into karting after 25 plus year hiatus and have found good info in the content of your videos. I'm building a UAS kart and really would like to see more of that stuff as well. I would also like to encourage more karter's to share there knowledge especially for the younger crowed. Again thank you for the information and keep it coming.

Tim, stock appearing Yamaha on jackshaft, need your recommendation for clutch 35 chain.

Ben. But I got you. 👍 Laukatis gator is what I run. Maybe a three disc being it’s stock appearing. I have a two disc on my wka yammi.

I’ve heard really good things about pink magic. Definitely one of the quality preps I was referring too.

When does your clutch engage on your Yamaha and how do I go about making my 3 disk bully engage at such a high rpm
@kart6t3_ben2 жыл бұрын
10200-10500. Depends on what clutch you have. Buller uses purple springs for instance.
@jakehamilton85442 жыл бұрын
Ok thanks all be getting those springs order greatly appreciated my friend
@kart6t3_ben2 жыл бұрын
@@jakehamilton8544 if I remember correctly. Purple springs .220 on the spring height gauge, bolt in every other lever. My memory might be slightly off but sounds close. I have a Laukatis gator on mine now.

I live in pa. I race and got many championship there. But I always watch your videos and usually agree with what you say. But the grease is not a good idea. It catches dirt can case problems. Tri flow is where its at. When you wash the kart and engine and Before features. Best thing to use. Just my opinion. But definitely keep the videos coming man. Would love to meet you.
@kart6t3_ben2 жыл бұрын
Yeh I figured I would get some opinions on what to use for lubricant. Tri flow is amazing stuff I use on all my other bearings and hiems. Do what works for you. Thank you for the comment.
@donaldgrooms7142 жыл бұрын
Totally agree about the grease. After I put on mine I wipe off all the excess just want it in the bearing guides. Grease still heat's up and will sling into the disk which Acts just like water.

We find useung grease better has helped are clutches tremendously, thanks ben we will be using your methods from now on...keep it up brother

Doesn't bully recommend soaking in acetone for like 10 minutes
@kart6t3_ben2 жыл бұрын
You can still do that but I’ve moved away from that over the years. It’s not a bad idea.

@@kart6t3_ben do you believe your way has a better result? Im not a fan of acetone is the main asking point
