Hey I agree I’ve been on this exact route through my own study. I got these in this order- ring, dagger, drum,moras,drum,drum. The dagger and moras web I think should be doubled up though. They both don’t last on stacking. 2-moras 2-daggers In the five march line up. For me I’ll be going for those next and my final two would be ring or more drums maybe. So in the five march I’m going for 2moras 2daggers 5drums 1ring. I think with 5 personal drums I’d be able to get every skill cycle to be 5-6 sec but I’m not sure. With my 3 drums now it helps a lot. Ps you gain multiple rage buffs if they go off at the same time so if two of your marches proc the drum on the same second the ally will gain 100 rage. So if you had 5 you could get 250rage but that would be very rare for all 10% to go off at the same time to get that overage. So if you have 5 drums they’d be giving out about 250rage per 10 sec to every march. I find that 1 drum goes off about once every ten seconds. My 3 drums brings down cycle from 7-8 to 6-7 sec. So my hope would be 5 drums would make it 5-6 sec between each skill cycle. This makes a huge difference of fitting your skills off benefiting from those buffs, I think it would outweigh the extra rings. And I really think doubling up moras and daggers is the right thing when seeing they stay at 1-2 stacks of debuff and sometimes no buff at all. So with one moras 3sec (0) 5sec (1) 2sec (2)over a 10 sec period… about. So with one equip it almost never hits 3 stacks and sometimes is at zero stacks. With doubled up moras and dagger the overall averages I believe will be worth it.

The big picture for me is that if you are 90% of players who are not chasing the elite rally meta, the drums make sense for field fighting. Plus you save huge amounts of materials. Basically you can get 90 plus percent of what you want, faster and cheaper. Thx for the video@

It's nice to see they added the War Drum procs to the reports. Another benefit to the War Drums is that it's attainable outside of the SOC shop so you can spend your coins on other things like the Ring. Good move for players not spending on tech who have a limited amount of coins.

I think the reason the top teams have so many KWDs is because the blueprints are easier to get from gems, rather than KvK coins for the Horn. For me, I’m happy to pay a little more legendary materials for the Horn because that is able to proc multiple times in a row. And there are only limited equipment slots, so I prefer to get the ‘best in class’.
@ferisadi24182 жыл бұрын
Exactly. A war drum in open field is only slightly less good then a horn. But because u have the ability to buy them with gems, u can much easier obtain AND TALENT the war drums + u can fully dedicate all season coins on rings, dagger and web. Which means u can obtain and talent those also quicker. This is a really smart strategy for mega spenders.

One other factors to think about is the opportunity cost of the other two open slots because of only needing the 1 war drum, ya know? Like yes it'll likely be more war drums but comparing the one to the three if war drums is even slightly worse war drums is still better because those other slos can be filled with more value than the horns

Drago you are great but here is where I miss for mathematical analysis Wick Gaming. My maths are a bit rusty butpercentage of activation PER TURN AND OVERALL for wardrums is if you bring 3 marches with them (1/10)x 3 because of the 3 marches, but 3 seconds cool down means can only activate 30% of the time so multiply that by 3/10. That is 9/600=0.15. Possibility of one horn activating, but since it affects three marches multiply it by 3 and divide it by 6 if you are bringing 6 marches to calculate individual possibility per march, then if you are bringing six to get overall percentage multiply by 6 again. Not sure, anyone can review this?
@Dragothien2 жыл бұрын
problem with that math is that you're taking probability out of it. There is a difference between percent chance and probability which is where the math in the video focuses. That being said, yes the horn can proc every second like i showed in the video, but probability wise, it's at around 31% chance to do so. Drums on the other hand has a probability to proc 25% of the time and can do so once every 3 seconds PER DRUM. Thats why the math starts skewing towards the drum. Yes the horn has better odds and will proc more often, but the total rage gen will be much higher with the drums over time and also free up 2-3 other accessory slots to bring debuff and buff accessories all horns wouldn't allow

Hi Drago, I think u are totally wrong on this. 100 turns of fighting with horn of fury equipped: Average of 30 procs. Total extra rage generated = 30 procs x 50 rage = 1500 rage. 100 turns of kuruak war drums (not taking into account the 3 second cooldown): Average of 10 procs. Total extra rage generated = 10 procs x 150 rage = 1500 rage. Now if we do take into account the 3 second cooldown of the proc, The average number of procs per 100 turns is close to 8. So the real rage generation of kuruak war drums per 100 turns is closer to 8 procs x 150 rage = 1200. So If we look at how much rage the items generate in a specific amount of turns, the horn outclasses the war drums (By a little). Not only that, Horn = All the rage it generates is focused on the march u want it to be on. U have control over where the rage ends up. War drums = The rage is for 1/3th where u want it to be and for 2/3 randomly distributed. So again, here the horn is slightly advantageous. Now the real reason why I think top teams use war drums (And maybe Seth’s calls): Not because they are better. But because they are obtainable with gems! So these top players can use their season coins on obtaining rings, daggers, webs and talent those. And use their gems on obtaining war drums and after getting enough of them talent those. This allows them to reach top tier talented Accessoire on all marches much quicker. Taking into account 3 blueprint’s players can obtain per SOC kvk, this is a totally legit strategy for high tier spenders. But it does not make war drums better then horn.
@Dragothien2 жыл бұрын
The whole point of the video was stating the numbers were close enough while still freeing up 2 or 3 other accessory slots for dagger web Seth’s.
@ferisadi24182 жыл бұрын
@@Dragothien Let’s say a player for a 5 march setup, now uses 4 horns. 4 rings. 1 dagger and 1 web. The dagger and web on a march where extra rage gain is not beneficial (Arte tommy, Ram tommy). The other 4 High DPS marches all use horn and ring. ALL those 4 marches gain an average of 150 rage per 10 turns. That’s equivalent to shortening a skill cycle from 8 to 7 turns and increases TOTAL damage output by about 9-10% (Skill damage output is increased by about 13%). Ditching the 4 horns, to then get 3x wardrums and 1 extra ring is not gonna lead to a better outcome: The rage your 4 marches IN TOTAL gain on average per 100 turns, goes down from 6000 (4x1500) to 3600 (3x1200). That’s a reduction of 40% rage gain through Accessoires. And the option to then have a extra ring on 1 march will not compensate. It is slightly inferior, but easier to obtain for high spenders. It allows those mega spenders to have 10+ talented accesoires much quicker. And this is why they have this kind of setup. Not because it is better ultimately.
@spectre36042 жыл бұрын
I completely agree with @Ferisadi here. Amazing video my friend and I appreciate the content along with the effort taken. But I would like to notify you that your 'Math' is completely incorrect. Math is not a subject where you can come up with an approximate answer. You need to consider the 2 sec cooldown and all the other factors including the rage capping. Example : What happens when all 4 war drums proc at the same time. Totally rage wasting. As mentioned, with horn you have a better control over where the rage ends up. Also with Horn, you can quickly do skill cycle due to high probability and get out of a fight. Ideal for murder ball, cheeze burgering[not relevant to this video, I agree] etc. Thanks again for this amazing content along with the effort taken.

About the ring of doom: If the cooldown of maximum 1 trigger per 5 turns would not exist. Then 10% chance to increase damage by 50% for two turns, means that in 100 turns, on average 20 turns deal 50% more damage. So the total average damage increase would be 10%. With the maximum trigger ability of once every 5 seconds, the actual number is slight lower (7,14% average damage increase). Don’t get me wrong. That is still one of the best in slot items. But it’s not as good as u mentioned.
@Dragothien2 жыл бұрын
It really depends on if it procs during a skill going off or not. No real way to fully give a flat bonus but someone did a procedural generation of a bunch of tests and that’s the number they gave.
@ferisadi24182 жыл бұрын
@@Dragothien This is how u calculate averages. Of course if out of those 20 turns where the ring is active u more then average proc skills, the result will be above average. But if u take a very large sample size (let’s say 10.000 of 20.000 turns), the real results get very close to the calculated average, because of the large sample size and it’s reduced variability of outcomes. U then will see that the ring increases total damage output by about 7%.

Thanks drago for your video and detailed explanation. However I have different perspective on the topic you have discussed. I personally think that the drum does not perform better than horn. The horn gives 30% to trigger the 50 rage boost effect. But for the drum, there is only '10% andi in fact, it is not actually 10%, maybe 9% or lower. I remember that wickgaming has talked about this. Bearly remember it is just around 7-8% possibility for every 10 turns. I actually made a drum but I just realised that the drum was just performing badly and it did not really help a lot. One of the reasons is that your marches can reach the cap (220 rage per turn) easily, and the 50 rage does not even benefit you from triggering the active skill one turn faster. In my opinion, I rather equip silent trial or even horn than the drum. I should say if you have an expertised drum and you are a big spender (especially those who have 6-7 marches), you can get one or two. But if you are not, I really dont suggest those mid-low spenders to do that.
@Dragothien2 жыл бұрын
This video didn’t compare 1 drum to 1 horn, but rather 1 drum to 3 horns and how to set up your accessories for 5/6/7 marches most efficiently. Please rewatch and take one section at a time. My numbers are spot on and proven in real game combat.
