I'd rather not have any monetization attached to this, at least this way not a single one of our videos has been taken down yet. Also we depend much less on the quirks of the YT algorithm. Covering Plant´s voice is always a tough task. You delivered greatly, congrats! Also kudos to the drummer, he managed to control himself. His own chops were there, but they were tasteful and into the song.

Ease up there. They're a great band, but you can't compare to Led Zeppelin. Martin did his best in trying to make the song his own, but I can't hear anybody besides Plant sing Kashmir and not think something's missing.

There's more bass in this cover... I think that's the one thing Zep was missing... maybe it was the mixing done in that era, but I always felt like something was missing, and that feels like the issue; it needed a bit more depth. It's kind of like listening to Ride the Lightning or St. Anger. The bass mix just wasn't there.

What about the bass? Appears to me they are covering the version Zep performed live in 2007. The bass is diff than the album because John Paul uses only keys during the live stuff

This is a great song that shows you how good Page, Plant, Bonham and Jones were in this super group Led Zep. I have at least 6 Led Zep songs which i enjoy listening to more than Stairway to Heaven. And Kashmir is right at the top of my list. One of those songs where the band owns all the versions; live and studio. Everything else is a facsimile
