Excellent sound. Thank you especially for Chopin: Ballade No.1 in gmin, Op.23.. 51:19

Mozart is considered the most difficult composer to play with a light touch...probably because of the light touch required for mastering Mozart. Horowitz is a Master in playing Mozart sublime and with the greatest touch. When I was young my Austrian piano teacher said to me, "MOZART IS LIKE PLAYING IN A GLASS HOUSE"!

It's tremendous to hear V.H. put 1983 behind him and come back fighting. In many ways, I think it's a bigger "come back" than in '65.

May I ask if this is the last time Horowitz played the Ballade in G Minor in public? Afaik in 1986 and 1987 concerts he didn't play it anymore :(
