I like how even with her newfound identity in Christ, she still wears black. Black is NOT an evil color, the enemy can turn normal things into wicked definitions. I used to feel bad when I wore my black turtleneck, black long skirt, and sandals to church. People joked that I was attending a funeral 😢🖤 Nothing to joke about. God bless you, Kat. Well if I may reveal what a true heart Kat has, she will always and forever be a hero in our lives. My step daughter had an incurable disease, cancer and was granted a make a wish dream. Her dream was to meet Kat and draw a tattoo that she may never get. Kat agreed to meet her, and to be honest she was more scared meeting us, than us meeting her. My step daughter and Kat spent time together privately and it literally changed her life. She was constantly depressed, sad, upset. And after the trip she looked at her life so much differently. Kat was afraid to show her tattoos because she thought we were farmers from Connecticut! Little did she know we all had tattoo and that why my step daughter wanted to meet her. We had watched the show for years. We all have demons in our past. And we all find our way on our own time. We love Kat not because she is famous. Not because she is talented, not because she is a star in her field. It’s because she has the most empathic heart of anyone I’ve ever met. A week in Cali set my step daughter on a better track. And that was all because of one person taking the time to be open and honest with a teenage girl. Thanks Kat! You have forever fans and friends in Connecticut.

Anyone who has ever been around addicts and drunks can immediately admire her. Being around those people is literally so God awful that you have to be severely inebriated to tolerate them. I had the same thing happen to me back when I used to smoke weed. Some guy told me I was was more fun when I was high. The truth is that I was way more accessible to him when I was high because he’s a loser. That was years ago and guess what? I’m stone cold sober and he’s still an epic loser. Nothing is worth sacrificing one’s ability to carry on through life sober, mindful, and purposeful. Nothing. Kat’s living proof of that. “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.” - 2 Corinthians 9:8
