Hello Kate, Just be grateful for your free spirit. It's more fun to have this. Be more creative and not do everything according to the rules. I start every morning by checking if there is a video of you🤗 Then I watch it and then my day starts. Today I have to bundle pruning wood to be removed, things are going better after seeing your video👍 Yesterday I told a friend that it is sometimes difficult to be creative because your head is always full of ideas and your hands never rest. Hi, Kate! I love your new smaller sewing kit. It’s full of bright colours, just the way I like it. I would have added a pocket for a small scissors. Both my sewing kits and needle books have one, otherwise I am constantly losing my beloved scissors (I have more than one, just in case 🤭). I lose needles and pins too, although I’ve been stitching all my life (I’m 53 by the way). And crochet hooks 🤭 I have several duplicate for the occasions when they mysteriously disappear to another dimension 😂, only to be found again sometimes weeks later 😂 Have a safe flight. O Alexandra - we must be very very similar! I lose everything in my nest, and since you wrote this, I have added a little bag for my scissors (but won't take them on the plane). The other day when I was making and filming, I "lost" 3 needles in 30 minutes! I am so grateful for your company with me. Hi Kate, Your joy is jumping out of the device to me! Combining those hot pinks and orange is pushing the boundaries for me, but they so work. I love that blue vase and wasnt sure about you covering it with a pink flower to tone it down. Again you got it to work. Today I purchased four remnant cotton fabrics and the colours are pink, orange and hot pink. It is after watching you stitching with those colours and how they are abundantly joyful that I am going to create a small piece for my daughter in law who loves anything pink. Hi Kate, not sure if you've left. Just wondering...have you enquired about taking pointy, sharp thingys on the plane...scissors, needles, pins? Hello special Amelia, who is back to Tasmania after Melbourne. I am so grateful for your care - had not thought of that at all! Did travel with pins and needles to Melbourne, but they did confiscate my scissors! I have looked up, and I think I can take a "quick unpick" with me safely. Zoe, from Green Door Studios has also gifted me a pair of tiny tiny scissors, that apparently pass muster,,,,who knows? Focus can be a challenge.) Your hands grabbing joy are delightful, and when you had a little sewing mishap, I was reminded of my school days. My teacher was usually lost for words with my ability (or inability) to sew neatly. And I can only imagine what consternation my stitching would cause now! But it makes me happy...
