Kate Can't Stop Stitching 3

I'm slow stitching everywhere on my trip: on the train, plane and at the hotel! Today I work on travel huswif and the side panel for large covered sewing basket. Jet lag warning.....

Love your travel stitching! What joy every time you see it back home, because adding experiences to our stitching makes them even more special. My friend recently gave me some gift tags she made of watercolor flowers. I printed them on fabric so that a I can cut them out and use them in my stitching. This way I will think of her whenever I see it. Have a fabulous time and I hope you find a treasure on your journey!

I’ve so enjoyed this video Kate. Thanks for taking the time to make it. I’ve been converted to stitching with old blankets as backing now, so lovely to stitch with. I’m blaming you😂. I’ve also made a piece that is just a collage of plain linen leftovers after I’ve cut out the flowers. I’m using this piece to try new stitches on. That way I can also use it to remind me what stitches I know and I might use them more. I find I tend to use the same old ones all the time. ❤

Hi Kate, so glad you are safe and sound in the USA. Did you say you are there for work? I think I recall you saying awhile ago you should be working on your presentation, not stitching 😂😂😂😂 I was dusting yesterday and had some odds and ends of my craft work around, and thought “ they need a nest”. So into a bowl they went, it’s a great use for my overstock of lovely vintage bowls. Of course they will always be “Kates nests “. Thankful for you my friend. ❤

Thank you , glad you have almost reached your destination. I’m feeling inspired to create a husswif now. I might use one of my mum’s unfinished embroidery works. I couldn’t bare to chop it up ,and she’d be devastated if I did ,but I think I know what I might do with it now ! ❤️🙏❤️
