Man, Kate Jackson is one of my favorites because she is a classy woman and an amazing actress. I loved her in the Rookies, Charlie Angels (favorite T.V. show) and Mr. Scarecrow and Mrs. King. I love how she answered the question on her two marriages. Man, that was a low question to ask someone. But Kate Jackson did great.

My aunt knew Kate’s father, Hogan Jackson. Kate grew up in Mountain Brook, Ala. She briefly attended Birmingham-Southern College. If she wasn’t a debutante, she could have been. Her family home was beautiful.

A very young Kate Jackson decided she wanted to be an actress and it all worked out!! Took a lot of talent, great looks, charisma and being able to stand her ground in the male-dominated 70s. Only few can accomplish that! Some use questionable tactics. Not Kate. She worked hard, was known to be a pro and she pulled it off! She is the best!

Oh dear Lord, she's tough! She iced it down to play tennis?? Kick ass. Yet another reason I admire her. I love Kate interviews and could listen to get talk all day. I wish interviewers didn't always ask her the same darn questions, though. It seems like for years it was all "are you difficult, gee, you're divorced, do you want babies?" I mean, I'd never want to give an interview of every damn time I had to talk about my biological clock.

agree, the questions actors had to put up with back in the day are infuriating. Nowadays, you would rarely hear such personal questions, or if you do hear it, they walk off the interview set. I think now actors have the power to say what topics are off limits in interviews, which is how it should be.

Listen how she pronounces Alabama and New York correctly like a native of both, yet she has no distinguishable dialect in regular conversation. Just like Mary Tyler Moore who was raised in New York but no "New Yorker" dialect. She deserved all 5 TV series, is a consumate actress; and both MTM and KJ were extremely beautiful in their primes, as well as very hard-working.

Um..havent seen her anywhere in years. Cannot find a SINGLE pic of her on Google etc...in any recent year :/ Hope she's okay! To lose out on Kramer vs Kramer because of ABC being such ruthless b*llbusters omfg . Nothing more brutal than being *forced to turn down an OSCAR winning role and movie :(

It's easy to decide you want to be an actress but most DON't make it! They would kill to have an amazing career like Kate did. Goes to show that it takes talent, creativity, great screen presence and charisma. Kate had it all and she made it! She had a great career being the co-creator of Charlie's Angels and the best actress by far she was the heart and the soul of the show.

I don't find her attractive, and I never thought she was beautiful on Charlie's Angels. However I think she is a superb actress and I thought she was the best actress on that show. I can see her as Mary Beth Lacey on Cagney and Lacey.
