I think it was a very wise decision to take the time to tell the children and let them grieve in peace before announcing it to the world and having them deal with all this media attention on top of everything else. Even in sickness she puts her children first. But apart from that, it’s totally normal to take a step back from work when getting chemo therapy. She has every right to take the time she needs to recover and to have her privacy protected when it comes to her health.
