Great video. nice to see women enjoying the hobby. Kate's collection was impressive, not often you see a Casio next to a Patek and the H Moser tourbillion with the red dial was probably the star of the show. Nice to see relatively modest watches alongside the high end ones. Great stuff! 🙂

Fantastic collection Kate. You summed up every aspect of what makes the hobby so absorbing and enjoyable. I too picked a Beaucroft at the London event, the Seeker British Sky one of 25 made for the day itself. I share your views on the quality of the design and the personal connection with the brand founders

Kate's collection is one of the most stylish and tasteful collections I've seen. There isn't a single one of her watches I wouldn't wear as a guy. I probably wouldn't have chosen the diamond bezel on the Patek. But, you know what? F**k it, I'd probably still wear it as my "FY. I've got more money than god" watch. Kate, you should check out the new Fears gold watch. It's he bomb, and I think it would look great on you.

I’ve seen almost every collector’s conversation episodes and always ask myself what these people do for a living? I can’t speak for everyone here but after seeing these collections you start to rethink if what you have sucks. I’d be lucky to spend $100 most of these collectors spend that much on a watch band.
@george88pizza433 ай бұрын
Never think what you have sucks. There’s always a ‘better piece’ at whatever price point you’re looking at. The joy of watch collecting for me is being able to appreciate different styles across a broad price range and you don’t have to own a piece to appreciate it. I’d love an F.P. Journe but I own a Casio W-86 and 3 Casioaks and think they’re all awesome. Enjoy what you’ve got

I'm not going to lie, I really thought she was going to try to throw the boiling water on him. It just seemed like she was so confused and afraid of whatever it was that she thought the cops were the prowlers. But that was no reason to shoot her, he was like 10 ft away. He just went from 0 to 100 so fast and determined it a life threatening situation without even thinking about her life. I don't know, all I can think is how was this guy even wearing a uniform. Clearly 4 other departments felt the same way. It's a shame this situation was even allowed to happen. Praying for her family

Why interview someone who has been into the hobby for just 5 years when there are thousands of collectors like me that have been into watches for a lifetime (40 plus years). Those are the collectors you want to hear from.
@gustavolatobias28133 ай бұрын
It would be nice to see Tim interview people who have been watch enthusiasts for 10+ years who have more subdued and inexpensive taste in watches meaning watches between $500 to $2000. I say this because there are people who have been enthusiasts for less than 5 years who have the resources to buy more expensive time pieces and are being recognized for what they have in their collection. There's nothing wrong with that at all, but recognize the community of enthusiasts who are in a less expensive price range.....Just sayin'.
