I did comment on this video earlier about how I don't like that KS has fragrance in her products, and even with my rosacea I cannot use Lavender in anything on my face. However! Please know that I do like some of KS's products: the Goat Milk Cleanser as well as the ExfoliKate foaming cleanser. Also, please know that I really respect Kate and all the hard work she has put into everything she does. Watching this video makes me want to crawl back into my little safe cave...you all have to go through so much to make it in this business! I loved watching these types of videos! Thank you! As I was watching this when I realised that I bought a gel to foam cleanser(instead of a toner). And I hear Carolines voice in my head «NO foam cleansers, they strip your skin». I laughed for a moment, but realized that she is so right. Then I drenched my face in faceoil. Just one of those days hating my acne. That's just life for ya.

Just read one of Kates blogs on a proper regimen, i did a double take when it said start with a foaming cleanser! I use the KS goat milk cleanser (perfection) and the Pixie CH double cleanser, both non foaming as the queen face blogger suggested!

This is so refreshing to hear two professionals talk about ‘all natural’ the way I see it. Just because you put a bunch of fruit oils (and lavender oil which I’m allergic to) in a product doesn’t mean it’s good for your skin (especially when exposed to sun).

Loved this, and I would love refillables! I would buy exclusivity from you just because I really do appreciate refillables. If you had the refills and a normal and small/travel size that would be great. I would buy the normal for home, travel for my gym bag, travel for office, and buy refills and just keep re-using.. After all these years, I always go back to the original line -- Deep Tissue Repair, Exfolikate, Nourish, and Detox cleanser. I love Kate Somerville and of course Caroline! I commend her on her hard work and going sustainable. Unfortunately, until countries like China and others in that realm, decide to put regulations on their industries the problem will barely be touched. Some countries literally have no qualms about pollution nor do they respond to any pressure to take care of the environment. They also have no plans for the future to curtail their pollution. Therefore, we are but a drop in the bucket. But every little bit helps. Congrats on being pro-active. Living overseas and wishing for the clean air back home!

I loved this video! About 18 months ago I had to return all of my KS products because my dermatologist was putting me on topical prescriptions and I had to go to an allergist for sever contact dermatitis. I am finally at a point where I can start using more of the commercial brands since I know what I am allergic and sensitive to. I literally just place my order for the Goat Milk Cleanser (this is the one category I am still searching for a HG product) and am now awaiting with baited breath. I had the unfortunate issue where the Exfolicate cleanser and glow moisturizer was causing congestion and itchiness on both me and my sister (turns out it may be the pineapple enzymes). I must also thank you all for being such brilliant advocates about not getting bogged down with fads and new terms that in the long run are actually causing more harm than good. Natural and green does not make it better or worse than lab-created ingredients. I cannot say how irritating it is to me to go into a Sephora looking for some skin care products and be geared toward all these "clean" and "natural" products when I tell them I have sensitive skin. In the end, more often than not it backfires and I can get horrible flares of painful, reactive rosacea. Hmmm, I wonder if Kate Somerville has any open positions in NYC. I would love to work for a company/brand with such beautiful ethos and wonderful innovations geared towards putting out a product that works and is backed by facts rather than making $$ in following with a trend.

This is so inspiring! I always recommend products suitable for people’s skin type and concerns. I once got into an argument with a coworker who tried to sell an high alcohol toner to someone with rosacea. I feel like western customers in general hates science in skincare🤣 and there are people who worked in the Industry for 30 years and still believe everything brands feed them. Agreed. Why fragrance?????? I can't use many of the KS products as a result. It makes me nuts. I stay away from many Murad products as well. I have almost finished the KS Goat Milk Cleanser, and while I love it, I love my Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Cleanser more.

I enjoy a light fragrance in products. I enjoy the citrus fragrance of the KS Nourish moisturiser and find lavender lovely. Lavender oil is especially calming on mosquito bites. I know fragrance isn’t important in a product but I do enjoy a nice scent in a product I am putting on my face/body.
