Hi Caroline! I just wanted to let you know that you are the first skincare specialist that I've ever heard to recommend that we apply our eye cream before moisturizer. I had always wondered about this. I apply almost all my products under and around my eyes, including tretinoin. I'm 53 and only got into really taking care of my skin about 2 years ago and a big reason is because of you. Your helping me to feel better about myself through your videos and freaks group, and of course the blog. If I ever get to the UK, I hope to attend a meeting and greet. Kudos for your great skincare detective skills. Dr. Fitzpatrick was such an interesting man. I have paid £30 in customs charges plus £8 by Royal Mail because it has a customs sticker on it. The customs charge will depend on the value of the item. If you buy something at a discount the company will declare the original cost.

I'm very keen to try her range but I cannot use anything with salicylic acid in it, as it just creates new huge cyst like lumps and they're endless, they just keep coming up. Then I have to stop using everything for a few weeks and my face dries up and oh oh oh it's horrible. I'll try to work round it :)

Why isn't there a Dry / Sensitive / Occasional Breakouts skin type??? I don't understand this? There are LITERALLY NO products on the market for DRY/Aging Skin with acne :(

Great question! Dry skin is lack of oil, or little to no oil and since acne is fueled by oil (oil breeds bacteria and bacteria leads to breakouts), the skin can't technically be dry with acne. It can feel dry and act dry (due to a damaged moisture barrier) but it's more than likely a dehydrated skin type. Essentially, no matter what is happening with the barrier on the surface, there's some oil buried down in there somewhere which is causing the breakouts. We deal with confused skin all the time and have products that address exactly what is going on with your skin. I promise! Bo, it is an interesting debate though given that we are told to put hand cream on the backs of our hands and rub them together back to back because it will not improve the palms also a senior employee from YSL advises ladies not to waste product by putting in on their palm first. Bo Brucie. Quick update just for fun! I thought about what you and all the beauty/skincare ladies say and decided to try a different method, so now I put the serum’s on the ends of my fingers then onto my face. Result, I’ve got the most beautiful fingertips in the world.
