I've watched Mare of Easttown twice now, and it was even better the second time around. Everyone in it was amazing, and really brought the characters to life. They all felt so REAL. Kate Winslet's performance was absolutely incredible, and further cemented her being my favorite actor. She deserves all the awards for her portrayal of Mare. This was an excellent interview with great questions, thanks for this!

Extraordinary actress. The best of her generation, and one of the all-time greats. She had two awesome performances back to back with Ammonite and now Mare. How great to see those accomplishments at this stage in her 30+ year career. She disappeared into Mare! I feel like if you went to the show locations you'd bump into her. Kate is amazing.

I would like also to pay credits to the wonderful soundtrack to that show. The flashback scene where Mare runs into the house to find Kevin underlayed by that simple, almost tender sequence of piano notes makes that scene for me to one of the many touching scenes of that show.
