I started listening to Kate Wolf back in 1983. I was 30 yrs old. I am now 70 yrs old and still get carried away by her music.

Back in the 1980s, I had just discovered Ms. Wolf and was deeply enjoying her music, strength, and mystic love of nature. Then, I heard that she had cancer, and I shut it down. I stopped listening, it was too much. I picked her music back up in 2010 during a time of trouble. Her voice, her love, and the soul of her songs gave me the courage to go on. May the afterlife gently rest upon Kate Wolf. Her work echoes through the ages. Creator bless Kate Wolf.

My dad passed away too young in 2010 - his death was unexpected to me because he did not tell me the full extent of his heart failure. During the weeks he knew his life was fading, he wrote down the lyrics of this song in his notebook which is how I found it and why I posted it here. Your comments have been wonderful to read, thank you. He loved Kate's music a lot and now so do I.

I have known of her for many years and never really listened to her. Working in a music store it would have been easy. Sometimes I think things wait for the time to come to you. After my angel bride passed I have found so much music. Brianna Lea Pruett lead the way especially after she passed at 32. I found Kate again a few months ago. I think my angel bride and Brianna lead her to me.

The Superstition Mountains and the Rim is my town. That's where I live now. Said, "bye to the city," and haven't regretted. I know her music so well and never heard this! Go see the Rim if you haven't yet. The canyon is as good as she sings.
