Hi Jen, I definitely am not trying to sound snooty, but as a former not-completely-terrible college runner and currently a cross country coach I have a little experience regarding stride length, foot turnover, etc. and I’d like to slightly correct what I think is mistaken impression. A runners natural stride length is in large part related (if not directly related) to their strength to body weight ratio. I emphasize the word “natural” because most people can artificially open up their stride for a short while by simply pushing off the ground harder, unfortunately the energy expended by giving that extra effort usually takes it’s toll on the runner’s energy stores pretty quick. The only reason I mention this is because as unbelievable a natural talent as she is, she clearly puts in the work in the weight room too; an aspect of her dedication that we, her fans, never get to see

I wonder if she's going to double or just focus on one of the races. I don't think she's ever run a 5000m outdoors before so that could be interesting. Based on her 3k time indoor she could be around 15:50 5k shape or faster. The NCAA auto qualifying times for 1500m and 5000m are 4:21 and 16:10 so she should definitely have a shot at getting those.
