AFAIK everyone is mispronouncing Dina's name. Ha-SHEM, is a Jewish pronunciation, and is the religious equivalent to "the Lord". HA-shem, is the Arabic pronunciation, and (I believe) is the name of Muhammad's great-grandfather.

Hashem is an old arabic name that literally means crusher , maybe in hebrew it's sound the same but has a different meaning .. so dina... your name is DINA CRUSHER

Dina is so cool. Keeps it real. Btw bear in mind there’s a 100 million Egyptians so don’t put them all in the same box. Sure probably the average guy in Cairo will stare at a woman and the average woman covers her hair (not that headscarves are bad). But there are possibly a few million men and women who are the opposite of that including myself and my friends and family. It’s a massive country. That works for many other stereotyped cultures btw.
