Dileesh Pothan is the best director in malayalam, period. The (false) modesty isn't convincing me. Never seen anything so realistic. Everybody exaggerates but this guy has no exaggeration. And attention to detail. Look, for me the best character in Joji was that priest. Pothan is evil by putting so much that i could think the priest is the main character. The priest is a low stature guy trying to establish authority over the local higher stature guys. The question i want to ask Pothan is about the scene in which bency tell Joji that those dead won't come back. Is that what i think it is? Is that referring to your paradigm shifts in life. Or maybe my imagination. But dude, you are a genius. I could see my relatives in every character

എനിക്ക് മനസ്സിലായത് പറയാം. അവർ ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചത് ബിൻസി എന്ന കഥാപാത്രം ആ വീട്ടിലെ ഒരേ ഒരു സ്ത്രീ ആണ് . ബിൻസി ജോജിയുടെ എല്ലാ കൊള്ളരുതായ്മകൾക്കും നിശബ്ദമായി കൂട്ടുനിൽക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. ആരും കാണാതെ ജോജിക്ക്‌ സ്വകാര്യമായി ആ വീട്ടിലെ മറ്റുള്ളവരെ കുറിച്ചു പരദൂഷണ ചുവയുള്ള കാര്യങ്ങൾ പറഞ്ഞു കൊടുക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. പിന്നീട് ജോജിയെ ഉപദേശിക്കാൻ പോയപ്പോൾ ജോജി ബിൻസിയെ എതിർത്തു പറയുന്നുണ്ട് അതിനു ശേഷം ബിൻസി ജോജിയെ കുടുക്കാൻ കൂട്ടുനില്കുന്നുമുണ്ട് . ഈ പരദൂഷണം ഒക്കെ മറ്റു സിനിമകളിലൊക്കെ സ്ത്രീ വിരുദ്ധമായാണ് കാണിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത്. അതുപോലെ തന്നെ കേറിച്ചെന്ന വീട്ടിലെ ആളുകളെ ഒക്കെ തമ്മിൽ തെറ്റിക്കുന്നതും സ്ത്രീ വിരുദ്ധമായി ചിത്രീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട് . എന്നാൽ ശ്യാമിനും ദിലീഷിനും ബിൻസിയെ അങ്ങിനെ ആൾകാർ പറയരുതെന്ന് ഉണ്ട്. അവിടെ ബിൻസി പ്രവർത്തിച്ചത് തനിക്കും തന്റെ ഭർത്താവിനും ആ വീട്ടിൽ നിന്നും രക്ഷപെടാൻ വേണ്ടി മാത്രമാണ് .

@@syamsagar439 അതെ പറഞ്ഞത് വളരെ ശെരിയാണ് . എന്നാൽ എനിക്കു തോന്നുന്നു തലയണമന്ത്രം സിനിമ പോലെ അതുപോലെ ചില സീരിയലുകളിൽ കാണുന്നതുപോലെ വീട്ടിലെ ബാക്കിയുള്ളവരെ തമ്മിൽ തെറ്റിക്കാൻ വിഷം ഓതി കൊടുക്കുന്ന പെണ്ണുങ്ങൾ എന്ന് അടച്ചാക്ഷേപിക്കാതെ തന്നെ അവർ ബിൻസിയെ വളരെ നിശബ്ദമായി കുറ്റകൃത്യങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യാൻ കൂട്ടുനിൽക്കുന്ന ഒരാൾ ആയി കാണിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട് . തേപ്പും, കുശുമ്പ് കുന്നായ്മയും, പരദൂഷണവും, തമ്മിൽ തല്ലിക്കൽ ഒക്കെ സ്ത്രീകൾ മാത്രമേ ചെയ്യു എന്നൊരു പൊതു ധാരണ ഉണ്ട് അതു പല സിനിമാ സീരിയൽ വഴിയുള്ള സ്ത്രീവിരുദ്ധത നമ്മൾ കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഈ പറഞ്ഞ എല്ലാ കാര്യങ്ങളും പുരുഷന്മാരും ചെയ്യുന്നതാണ് . ഇവിടെ ബിൻസിയെ ജോജിക്ക്‌ ഒപ്പം ആണ് നിർത്തിയിട്ടുള്ളത് . മറ്റു സിനിമാ സീരിയൽ പോലെ അല്ലാതെ വളരെ ശാന്തമായി കുറ്റകൃത്യങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യാൻ പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കുകയും അതിനു കൂട്ടുനിൽക്കുന്ന ഒരാൾ ആണ് ബിൻസി . അതു ഒരു സ്‌ത്രീ ആയത്കൊണ്ട് മാത്രമല്ല അവിടെ ഒരു ആണിനെ സ്ഥാപിച്ചാലും അത് ഉത്തമം ആയിരിക്കും. ആവിഷ്കാര സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം ഒട്ടും നഷ്ടപെടുത്തിയിട്ടില്ല എന്നാൽ സ്ത്രീ വിരുദ്ധതയും ഇല്ല.

@@syamsagar439 ലൈറ്റ് ആക്കി എന്ന് ഞാൻ മനസ്സിലാക്കിയത് വളരെ ശാന്തമായി എന്നാൽ സൂക്ഷ്മമാക്കി എന്നാണ്. വളരെ ലൗഡ് ആകിയിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ മറ്റു സിനിമകളിൽ കാണുന്നതുപോലെ കുശുമ്പ് കുന്നായ്മ പറയുന്ന ഒരു സ്ത്രീ എന്ന് ആൾകാർ ആക്ഷേപിക്കാൻ ചാൻസ്‌ കൂടുതൽ ആണ്. എന്നാൽ ബിൻസി ഇവിടെ കുറ്റകൃത്യം ചെയ്യാൻ ഓതിക്കൊടുക്കുന്ന കൂട്ടുനിൽക്കുന്ന ജോജിയെപോലെ തന്നെയുള്ള ഒരു വ്യക്തി ആണ്. ഇതുപോലെ ശാന്തമായി സൂത്രശാലി ആയ ഒരു വ്യക്തിയെ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ സ്ത്രീയെ നമ്മൾ സിനിമകളിലും സീരിയലുകളിലും അങ്ങിനെ കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല. നിങ്ങൾ പറഞ്ഞതിനോടും ഞാൻ യോജിക്കുന്നു. സ്ത്രീ വിരുദ്ധത ആവിഷ്കാര സ്വാതന്ദ്ര്യത്തിനു ഒരു തടസ്സം ആവരുത്. എന്നാൽ സ്ത്രീകൾക്ക് മാത്രമേ ഇങ്ങനെയൊക്കെ ചെയ്യാൻ പറ്റു എന്ന് അടച്ചാക്ഷേപിക്കുന്ന സിനിമകളും നമ്മൾ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കാൻ പാടില്ല എന്നാണ് എന്റെ അഭിപ്രായം. 😊 എന്തായാലും ഒരുപാട് സന്തോഷം ഈ ചർച്ച തുടങ്ങിവെച്ചതിനു. Directed by deepak .That short filim got award also..Unfortunately shyam pushkaran is one of the members in the judgement panel for that short filim .maybe hes inspired from that movie. Other wise he nicely copied that idea to joiji script. If you watch that short filim you can feeel. Scene & shot also copied. Joji they just developed the scene only.
