When an interviewer respects and understands cinema as the medium and ask such a relevant and precise questions its a treat to watch. Thank God! I was brought up in Kerala. Have rarely seen an interviewer going in such depth in asking questions (Of course there is Bharadwaj Rangan) Certainly it is sad that the filmmakers are compelled to think if its a cinema for theatre or OTT. ഒരു minute ഉള്ള ഒരു teaser ൽ നിന്നും ഇത്രയ്ക്കും questions ചോദിക്കാനും. മറുപടിപറയുന്നത് അതിൽനിന്നും സമയോചിതമായിട്ട് ഓരോന്ന് ചോദിക്കാനുമുള്ള മനീഷേട്ടന്റെ brilliance പോത്തേട്ടൻ brilliance ഇനോടൊപ്പംതന്നെ പോരും. ഒരു വെറൈറ്റിക്കുവേണ്ടി കുറച്ചു പൈങ്കിളി questions ചോദിക്കാതെ നല്ല നിലവാരം കീപ്പ് ചെയ്യുന്ന ഈ പ്രോഗ്രാം ഒരുപാട് ഇഷ്ടമാണ്.

ഓരോ കഥാപാത്രങ്ങൾക്കും ദിലീഷ് പോത്തൻ കൊടുക്കുന്ന ഡീറ്റയിലിങ്ങ് അപാരമാണ്. ജോജിയിൽ സുപ്രധാന വഴിത്തിരിവാകുന്ന തോട്ട സുധിയുടെ കഥാപാത്രത്തിലെക്ക് വരാം. ടാപ്പിങ്ങ് തൊഴിലാളി ആയ വെങ്ങിണിക്കയിൽ സുധീഷ് വിജയൻ(സുധിയുടെ പ്രായവും മുൻപ് തോട്ട ഇട്ട കേസിൽ അഞ്ച് വർഷം ജയിലിൽ കിടന്നിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും ഒരു ഓൺലൈൻ വാർത്തയിലൂടെ കാണിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. ) തോട്ട സുധിയുടെ കണ്ണെത്തുന്ന സ്ഥലമാണ് പനച്ചേൽ കുട്ടപ്പന്റെ റബ്ബർ തോട്ടവും മീൻ കുളവും ഒക്കെ. തുടക്കത്തിൽ ചൂണ്ട ഇട്ടുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ജോജിയോട് "കൊത്തൊന്നും ഇല്ലേ" എന്ന് ചോദിക്കുന്ന ഭാഗം ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചാൽ മതി.കുട്ടപ്പനേം കൊണ്ട് ആമ്പുലൻസ് വരുമ്പോഴും തോട്ടസുധി ഓടി വരുന്നത് കാണാം. ചിലരെങ്കിലും ശ്രദ്ധിച്ച് കാണണം. മരണ ചടങ്ങിന് പടക്കം നിറക്കുന്നത് തോട്ട സുധിയും കൈപ്പത്തി അറ്റുപോയ പ്രായമുള്ള ഒരാളും ചേർന്നാണ്. ഒറ്റനോട്ടത്തിൽ അത് തോട്ട സുധിയുടെ അപ്പനായ വിജയനാണെന്ന് അനുമാനിക്കാം. പണ്ട് പടക്കം നിർമ്മിക്കുമ്പോൾ അപകടം പറ്റി കൈപ്പത്തി അറ്റ് പോയതാകാം.(പടക്കം നിറച്ച കാർഡ്ബോർഡ് പെട്ടിയിൽ നോ റൂൾസ് എന്ന് എഴുതിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ബിംഗോയുടെ പെട്ടി മനപ്പൂർവ്വം വച്ചതാണോ എന്നറിയില്ല) ജോജിയെപ്പറ്റി തോട്ട സുധി അപവാദം പറഞ്ഞ് നടക്കുകയാണെന്ന് പറയുമ്പോൾ ഷമ്മി തിലകന്റെ കഥാപാത്രം പറയുന്ന ഡയലോഗുണ്ട്."മറ്റെ ടീമാ അച്ചോ ഇനി നമ്മളെന്തേലും പറഞ്ഞാ അത വേറെ കേസാകും" സുധിയുടെ ജാതി രാഷ്ട്രിയവും കൃത്യമായി അടയാളപ്പെടുത്താൻ ആ ഒറ്റ വരി മതി. ജോജി തല്ലാൻ വന്നപ്പോഴും "എന്നാടാ "എന്നു നിഷ്കളങ്കമായി സംസാരിച്ചാണ് സുധി വരുന്നത്. "ഞാൻ കണ്ടതല്ലേടാ "എന്ന് തുറന്ന് പറയാൻ സുധി മടിക്കുന്നുമില്ല.തോട്ടസുധി പറഞ്ഞതാണ് ജോമോന് കൂടുതൽ വിശ്വാസം തോന്നിയതും. ഓട്ടത്തിനിടെ എടുത്തോണ്ട് പോകുന്ന കൈതച്ചക്കയിൽ ഒരു തുള കാണാം. തോട്ട വെക്കാൻ തയ്യാറാക്കിവച്ചതാകാം അത്.(കുറച്ച് കാലം മുൻപ് പൈനാപ്പിൾ കഴിക്കാൻ വന്ന ആന തോട്ടപൊട്ടി മരിച്ചത് വാർത്തകളിൽ നിറഞ്ഞത് ഓർത്തുപോയി) വളരെ കുറച്ച് മാത്രം സ്ക്രീൻസ്പെയ്സ് ഉള്ള ഒരു കഥാപാത്രത്തിന് പോലും ഇത്രമാത്രം ക്ളാരിറ്റി നൽകുന്ന തിരക്കഥയും ആഖ്യാന രീതിയും മികച്ചതാണ്. ധനീഷ് ബാലനെന്ന കഥാപാത്രത്തിന്റെ ഗംഭീര തുടക്കം കൂടി ആണ് ഈ ചിത്രം.
