The Friends of the Johns Hopkins University Libraries invite you to an evening with Kathryn Edin, who will read from her newly released book. Edin is Bloomberg Distinguished Professor of Sociology and Public Health in the Zanvyl Krieger School of Arts and Sciences and the Bloomberg School of Public Health.
One of the nation's leading researchers on poverty, she is recognized for her use of quantitative research and direct, in-depth observation to illuminate key mysteries about people living in poverty.
