Kathy was great, as always. And she's a much smarter, way more technical fighter in this one. Solid defense, good counter attacks and a formidable hit ratio. Not only this clearly was her win, but it should've been by a much larger margin.

Tough tough fight I gotta say two gladiators. This kinda fight really puts women's boxing right up there with men's. Kathy Long is ferocious fighter. Yard super well poised and great use of height

I only saw this after many years, since it occurred. Kathy only threw about half of the punches that Yard did, but connected on a lot more of them, Kathy has a bad problem staying on her feet during a match, meaning she slips a lot. I am impressed at the muscle on Kathy. She was one strong woman !

Long did very well against Yard. Yard looks like a guy, and has a much longer reach than Long. (Don't know if it's a he or a she) Most of Long's punches landed well, which is the more remarkable considering the difference in reach.

Watching this match-up between Kathy Long and this Yard fellow, from the very first round, is like watching another Amanda Nunes all over again laying wast to a stable of UFC great fighters. I will not be surprised if this Yard guy has a girlfriend too! But then again, Kathy has been known to have karate chopped and beaten up a string of Hercules-sized male baddies (in her movies, of course) and therefore, there's nothing to worry about here.
